That was more End of Avengerlion than I was expecting.

I’d recommend both Gravity Rush games; I love them for their aesthetic and fun writing (Kat’s one of my fav protags). They’re both on sale this week!

It’d be ideal if he could come up with like a pitch of a game and then hand it off completely. I still am in awe of Indigo Prophecy having such a promising first level suggesting you’ll be playing a cat and mouse game as both the cat and mouse, evading the cops while playing as the cops trying to catch you, and then

I’ll probably be playing the KH collection some more, but I’m real tempted to get God of War and A Way Out soon. One of my friends wants to play the latter with me but I wanna make sure we have time to with the whole co op thing.

The production (or lack of production) on these books is so interesting to me. Like looking at the original pitch letter you can see a lot of the things that stopped him even then, stuff like “If I know where it ends I lose all interest”. It’s just crazy to me that it’s book 5 of 7 and the planned act 2 hasn’t

If I remember right, he said in his original pitch letter something like “If I know exactly where a story is going, I lose all interest in it.”

I’m glad about this, I remember the big Phase 3 announcements right before Age of Ultron deflated a lot of my hype for it.

True, I should have clarified I was talking about the first huge status quo reset at the end of Season 3 into Season 4 (can’t edit my first because of Kinja...). Fingers crossed S7 has more time for Hatred.

It really needed a more Venture Bros. style status quo shakeup, building up to their big changes rather than just going “this is ___ kind of show right now”.

The main reason I’d get an XB1X is for backwards compatibility, my og Xbox has a messed up disk drive that’s kind of a pain. Breakdown sounds really interesting, I’ll add it to my list!

Shenmue 1 + 2 remaster finally announced for this year!!

I thought Second Son/First Light had great writing but I’m super biased as I’ve loved SP since the Sly days.

Infamous’ story was so great. Sucker Punch is a really underrated studio writing wise.

Just bought em! I’m excited!! I love the art style and all the stuff I’ve heard about like playing with narrative.

I had the same problem with Bloodborne, I just couldn’t overcome that hurdle of the difficulty. It got to a point where it wasn’t fun trying to git gud or whatever and just made me want to play other things.

P4G is so lovely, I just adore the vibe of it. It’s weird but I’m almost hesitant to compare it to P5 until the inevitable P5 remake-ish thing, just because P4G fixed so much about P4.

Hopefully finishing up my 2nd P5 playthrough. I see the Zero Escape trilogy is on sale on PSN and while I know I told myself I didn’t want to get any more games for a bit, it seems a bit too good of a deal to pass up.

I’m still bitter about that document trashing fans who were excited for Stella saying Luna would be SOOO MUCH BETTER, and then we got that with Luna in game. I was speechless at how badly they did Luna’s...”plot”? Was there even enough to call it that?

Only somewhat related but I nearly cried laughing on the review of this on On Cinema when Tim randomly said “You Were Never Really Here...sounds like the Gregg Turkington story.”
