I think that one of the main themes of the story is that it is important to have morals but not to let one's moral code dictate everything. Jon needs to learn to be more like Tyrion and less like his father.

And I somehow think that he could care less.
As Gilly said, why do bad people need to harm good people? Yes, seasons 1-6 suggest that sometimes bad people win but why can't good people win as well. Why can't Arya retain her morals and refuse to assassinate someone? Why can't Sam and Gilly win? Why can't Jon and Sansa retake the North?
But why can't the world have morals? Why can't there be some good and light?
To kill Walder Frey using her magic assassin skills?
Lady Tarly was a lovely addition and just seems like a straight out nice person. In fact, even Dickon seems like a rather nice person, although not very smart. The only nasty person in that family is Randyll.
Margaery didn't have time to see Granny and talk it over for tea. And while a great move by Margaery, there is nothing to suggest that Oleanna isn't wrong and that playing with religious zealots doesn't end badly for all involved. Margaery is thinking about getting herself and Loras out of their current pickle and…
Yes. It should pose quite a dilemma for Tyrion, who while politically savvy and self-interested, is also one of the few nobles who does care for the Westros common folk.
I would love it if she started yelling all her titles at someone, like say her long lost nephew, Jon, and he is totally unimpressed.
And the Gilly-Sam scenes with his family were straight out hilarious and uncomfortable. Boy, do the Tarlys' have money; since they are the bannermen of the Tyrells, that just shows you how wealthy the Reach is.
Who thinks that Dany is going to end up being a straight out villain in the series. That is the vibe I'm getting from her speech. She wants what is hers, but why exactly does she deserve the Iron Throne.
Tommen is gullible enough to be brainwashed by the Faith for realsies and probably was. Margaery is using this to get complete control of Tommen and separate him from the Lannisters. She already dispatched Jaime and what do you want to bet that Cersei is next. And all Margaery has to do is pretend to be pious for a…
It is in Margaery's interests to be allied with the High Sparrow right now. She is able to get out of her Walk of Atonement and likely save Loras. She also can use it to get full control of Tommen and finally be rid of Cersei. Of course, it could backfire but she is playing the cards that she was dealt.
I don't think that Margaery has turned into a religious nut. I think that she is playing the Sparrow and the rest. From her perspective, this works well as she got herself out of a bind and also was able to gain control of Tommen.
And they don't want their families to die.
The show within a show, in addition to being hilarious, is all about one of the larger themes of the show.. The illusion of power.. "Power lies where men think it lies. It is an illusion."
Davos was speaking about after the RW in the show. And I believe that his opinion on this as correct and that the Northern lords won't be as willing to sign up with Team Stark as Sansa thinks.
I think that he might be looking to create a rift and conflict in Team Stark.
I love Ser Davos' pragmatic streak and am glad that he is now with Team Stark. Davos is very right that men aren't going to automatically fight in a losing cause for someone who is not even Ned's true born heir. Sansa might be more assertive but that doesn't mean she understands political realities.
Wow. Poor Willas. The Hodor story is the stuff of nightmare fuel.
