A tablet is not an effective compromise device for my needs. I like the tablet interface, but I need the power of a full PC and the freedom of a primary OS. Apple is treating the tablet like a scaled-up smartphone; I'd be more interested in a scaled-down laptop, or, better yet, a laptop with a rotating monitor that

@jeremiah89: I can't think of another web-based client in Gmail's league, so that could be something of a futile endeavor. Gmail's a legitimate client, at any rate, and I like seeing how it compares to the traditional apps - it's very illuminating.

@davehenning: Ahh, that's an interesting idea. So when you reply to a message that came from a forwarding address, it will appear to be sent from that address, as well?

@Super Moose: Because Gmail functions as a client for only one email account, because it depends on the cloud for data storage, because some people are wary of Google's services and prefer its competitors, and because the whole point of the Hive Five series is to present alternative choices and let the users make a

Additionally (sorry, I didn't realize uploading the screenshot would cause it to be posted), I like the fact that I can back up all my messages on my own hard drive, without relying on the cloud. I'm a big fan of MozBackup for this job.

VOTE: Social Wallpapering (socwall.com)

I have 5 invites to give. :)

Funnily enough, I wrote an almost identical skin for Windows' Rainmeter [www.rainmeter.net] The skin requires the release candidate of Rainmeter 1.1, which might have a bug or two, but the skin work great. :)

@saintseminole: You shouldn't have to, but I'm sure that would do the trick. At the very least, try removing your current Rainmeter.ini.

The wallpaper.

@Phoshi: How so? Now that Rainmeter's in active development again, I guarantee you they're open to suggestions.

@AirRaven: If you *want* them all. ;)

@єηνy ™: Right-click the Rainmeter tray icon and go to Configs > Enigma > _Home > Home.ini.

@bronskrat: Open the MoxaWeather skin code and change "metric=1" to "metric=0".

@foxsterling: Check the "third-party addons" forum on Rainmeter.net. I think someone's working on an app that monitors resolution changes and updates Rainmeter accordingly.

@mclifford82: We apologize for the four seconds you lost to this grievous deception.

@nitzua: That's next on the list.

@Adrianb: Not even close. I had iTunes, VLC, Trillian and Firefox open when that screenshot was taken.
