Every time i re-watch the Crystal Skull thing, more i like it, the only dumb things are the goddamn cast of the son, Jonesey!!!!, cgi monkeys and Marion who after the waterfall scene doesn’t talk or do anything. But the atomic/commie stuff was brilliant! even the refrigerator and John Hurt doing the close encounters…
Loved it and also feel bad for all those cgi people i killed on Red Dead Redemption (even the Sasquatch!)
Ray’s alien is a far better design than the 1953 martians, and better than the Spielgberian id4wannabe ones, but my favourites are from the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen vol 2
why people always recreate ET or the Goonies? Close Encounters and Empire of the Sun are the real spielgberian masterpieces, always wanted that “watch the skies” darker sequel, whatever.
