At first I was going to post something snarky about how there’d be less stabbing if knives didn’t exist, but the more I think about it, I think we’d just see an uptick in fork-related violence.

an ongoing pro-Confederacy march
Specifically speaking about this case...if you spend what amounts to a week’s worth of salary (or more) for many people on loot boxes, you need to recognize that you may have a gambling problem and potentially seek help. That’s not normal, healthy behavior, and unfortunately it’s the exact type of behavior that…
I’m not sure what’s worse: not getting Dragon Age 4 at all, or getting Dragon Age 4 but having it turn out like Andromeda or Anthem
I don’t think there’s any wondering about it: the golden age of BioWare has pretty clearly passed, and it’s probably time people started accepting that. A name doesn’t make a studio; the people who work there do, and a lot (if not most) of the talent from the old days is gone (especially the writing talent).
I made this same point in another article a few weeks ago to someone asking whether or not they should buy these types of games day 1 or wait.
If it’s anything like the first one, I don’t think that’s the case. I completely avoided the Dark Zone in the first game (every time I tried it just felt like a bunch of griefing assholes teaming up on weaker players), but I never felt like I was missing out on the best gear. Maybe I was, but there was plenty of…
It’s irredeemable. Might as well shut down Kotaku.
Oh man, I could not agree more with this. I didn’t spend very much time with the beta, but my single biggest takeaway (which is saying a lot, considering there were some other significant issues/worries) was that the cooldown meter completely ruined the best selling point the game had.
I don’t think there’s ever going to be a true consensus, simply because the answer will depend on your both personal stance on being an early adopter and the individual game.
Doesn’t seem like licensing is the issue here, but as a side note...
Every goddamn event in Track Meet for Game Boy.
I hate that I miss out on a lot of good games because of this, but I just can’t do anything other than the mildest sort of horror. Until Dawn-type stuff is about as intense as I can get, and even then I tend to avoid the genre unless it seems like a must-play game (like Until Dawn).
I can only assume the camo is so they can hide from people in the immediate vicinity who would otherwise be pointing and laughing at the 2 dorks staging photos to make it look like they’re climbing a steep rock face.
I use TurboTax because it’s relatively easy compared to filling out IRS forms by hand and sending them in via certified mail, and I’m not aware of a significantly cheaper option for the type of filing I require (which usually involves Schedule D for capital gains/losses).
How could Trump possibly work 6 hours a day when he spends 20 hours a day tweeting?
I’m assuming Trump thinks Obama spent the basketball offseasons during his presidency scouting college players for some reason.
Like an idiot liberal, you’re clearly ignoring the 7 AM ET Chinese league basketball games that Obama constantly wasted time watching during his presidency when he should’ve been working for AMERICA, FUCK YEAH.
Oh yeah, Sarah? Well you’re a figurative loser. So take that!
Stop fucking dragging down the rest of MLS and spend money, Kroenke. You’re fucking rich as shit, do something with your money or sell the Rapids to someone who cares.
