They were still headed almost straight up at the top of the picture. What makes you think it topped out there? Jeeze!

Then you’re blind.
Calm down there, Phil. That’s exactly the point I was making with that picture to the guy who didn’t even think it qualified as a cliff.
LOL! Yeah, I ran into that also during my Google searches.
You’re very close. My research shows it to be a very, very early styling clay for the European Ford Capri project, which was called the “Colt” in it’s early stages.
I see where the early European Ford Capri project was called Colt, and used a V-4. Could this be one of the early styling clays for the Capri? Here’s a page from which the following quote is from. Look for the “related research” area, paragraph 19.
I do that with the toaster when I make all my sandwiches. Put two slices of bread in one of the slots. You get one side toasted, the other side soft and warm. Whether the toasted side goes inside or outside is up to you (mine goes on the outside). I’ll have to try that in the pan next time.

I remember the the very first time I saw that picture back in the day. It was probably in C&D but I don’t remember for sure. All I know is that I was around 15 at the time and I’ve never forgotten it.
I’ve often thought that every ballot should have a “none of the above” option for each race. If that option comes out on top, none of the candidates are what the people want. We need to vote for who we want in office, not for the lesser of two evils.
No problem, my friend. It just gave me the excuse I needed to post that picture in here for, ummm, educational purposes.
