Never really cared for K.I.T.T. all that much. Besides, the Viper Defender blew it out of the water, especially the 4 X 4 version. NOTE: I’ve always thought that the 4x4 sports car segment is one the automakers have overlooked far too long.

I don’t think that’s an issue one way or the other. It’s intended passengers usually use the very back door.

Good review. The Lagonda has always been one of my favorite cars. Doug says it may be the weirdest (production) car in the world. Has he done a review of a Citroen DS yet? I looked and couldn’t find one. I’d love to see his take on those.

You’ll love the rear then...

Close enough? The Royal Imperial Century hearse.

It’s a screenshot I took from their site, so yeah, it’s real. Check it out yourself. The site is still active (or it was when I posted it).

Don’t worry, it’s OK. They have a disclaimer...

Looks like a FISO to me.

That car also had another name... the Flying Wombat. Wonder if Lincoln would like to use that name as well?

Or better yet, a late model Grand Marquis. Most were bought by older people who hardly ever drove them, maintained them to the letter, then end up at estate sales. There are tons of them out there with less than 50K miles on them for cheap. I got an ‘07 last July that was in like new condition and only had 38K miles

Well, it’s unusual to see a Lambo that’s NOT on fire. As for BMW, they have issues too.

What Model 3 are you talking about? The one in the article is a Model S, and a fairly early one at that.

If you read the article or even look at the picture, you’ll see that it is a Model S, not a Model 3.

I thought it was a hit piece too because of a couple of things. First, Tesla’s radar has the ability to see ahead of the car it’s following and I’ve seen videos of it actually braking before the car in front switched lanes. I wonder how much radar reflecting metal was in that paper Fiesta? Second, I loved how the

Back in the day when it was a big deal to have a beeper, we would prank those self-important owners with a callback number. 202-456-1414. That’s the White House switchboard. Might work here too.

Probably one of their naval vessels. Look! The fleet is in!!!

This is my favorite obit, and one that I want mine modeled on....

I always keep the receipt in my car until I fill up the next time, then I save that receipt, just for cases like this.

I usually try to put links into all of my posts just in case they are needed by those who are too young, are from a different part of the world, or are too ignorant to know who or what I’m referencing. I’m glad you found them helpful.

Yeah, that didn’t end well but as you said, nobody was killed. His passengers were pretty notable too. Tony Hulman, ABC broadcaster Chris Schenkel, and John Glenn were all in the car too.
