I’ve lived within the UK system. Quality doctors all work in the private side. Third-world trained or domestic “trade school” doctors work the public side. Very few in the upper-half of UK society would ever set foot into the public system.

Great litmus test for any liberal politician: check their tax returns to see if they itemize deductions (this being the most direct way to VOLUNTARILY REDUCE your tax bill). If they do itemize, any support they try to show for “paying your fair share” is voided.
