I suspect he was worried about being knocked off due to wind. Maybe that is an irrational fear, but most people (even this guy, I bet) don’t have much experience with cargo planes making unusually low passes. I’m sure you would have just stared it down like a real man.

It’s because ‘quality’ is not quantifiable. People will BS as to why this is better than that. Show me the frequency response and be done with it!

Andoroid (Lollipop) has this. I have it disabled, to me it was a big red flag. I cannot remember if it was enabled by default. But this is sort of hidden in the settings... I can see how this would upset people. On by default is a HUGE deal in general... there is a reason ‘shady’ settings are usually on by default.

We (Americans) have progressed well beyond having to worry about food, shelter etc. on a daily basis. It’s called progress. Our ancestors would laugh at Syrians, complaining ‘there is no fresh water... where are our medical supplies, wahhhh...’

I completely disagree with the fire analogy. Fire in fact usually invites people to congragate and they inevitably chat. You don’t camp much, do you? Everyone should. Seriously. I’m not sure what multi-steps they refer to in a solar cell. Light excites carriers, which flow to opposite sides of the cell... boom! voltage (and if a load is applied, current).
