Yeah, I downloaded the 11.68 GB update(!) and gave the Predator mission a go, but as Heather says, it was deeply unsatisfying.

It was also pretty windy down here near the launch site at what would have been the launch time, not a bad idea to wait a day for better conditions.
I don’t think I can give up my iPod Touch. I don’t need a smart phone, but I want a gadget for email, calendar and a bit of web browsing when I’m on the go. And I don’t mind waiting till I can find someplace with wireless. I like the small format and the fast processor speed.
I think this is another disadvantage to living in urban areas. Where I live, we know our mail carriers by name and route. Heck, I can even recognize the sound of the engine up the street. Same for the UPS and FedEx folks. They would never pull that kind of crap here, because we know when they come by.
Portal and Portal 2 were a couple of the very few puzzle games I played to completion, mostly because the story telling was so much fun. I hope they keep that in mind.
Thanks for the article! Disney certainly had some bad traits, but most achievers do.
My wife put a sign on my office/mancave door that says “Bah, Humbug”. It’s been there twenty years.
I clicked the link that took me to the Wham YouTube video, but since it wants me to sit through a 15 second annoying commercial I exited instead. So I guess I’m still good for the game!
Listen to “Grandpa’s Advice”... They’re all jerks.
All this keeps reminding me of a book I read,
Do you have a link to the whole list?
The Rose Parade on New Year’s Day is the only one worth watching, since it avoids all those canned celebrity song spots.
Here’s a link to that posting thread about restoring the music in Mafia, linking to the updated instructions (the original instructions sent you to an out of date URL).
Ahhh... the article cites Gene Kranz, who was a NASA Apollo Flight Director, which is a pretty awesome job, but not an astronaut. So the title should be...
I picked up a couple of these when my wife and niece dragged me to a baby store to shop for the niece’s upcoming delivery. I keep them (the hooks, not the people) in our van for trips, they come in handy to hang additional bags and whatnot on the luggage carts when we unload at hotels.
I see that Quantum is going to come with Pocket integrated into it. I’ve been a Pocket user for years and love it. Still, I’ll wait for a few months till the bugs shake out. I guess it’s because I use my current Firefox on my pretty powerful desktop that it hasn’t seemed slow to me.
Also if you are a Steam user and are using the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator app on a device for extra security, be sure to get a recovery code from the app on the device and keep it safe.
I use a Z222 AT&T flip phone ($15 at Walmart) and fund it with yearly GoPhone (now AT&T Prepaid) cards, $100 for 1000 minutes, although for the past two years my local AT&T store manager rolled me over for another year for free, since I have several hundred bucks still on the account. For those times I need to check…
Not apparently a glitch, as I’ve seen it too and the Uplay Photo mode has a number of them.
Thanks for the article, knowing the origin of the statues adds to their interest to me.
