Tom Hardy for Marion Cobretti, 2017

Hence the fad for putting filmic badasses in post-apocalyptic scenarios, I guess. Instant amoral hellscape!

I love Serkis-as-Serkis and wish he'd appear in more movies as an actual human person. He was one of the few great things in Jackson's King Kong remake.

Whedon and the Marvel brass were fighting over having the farm scene in the final cut, so she was only guaranteed to be included pretty late in the game.

Marvel has found their Punisher. Sorry, Tom Hardy.

He bugs me too. I have enjoyed his movies and it's an irrational feeling but I can't seem to shake it.

You're right, they both did. I came away from it thinking Thor's use of the term is the one that stuck, for reasons that escape me now. Viewings 3 through 80 will help clear this up, I'm sure.

Thanks, that at least makes sense. I do remember some muttering about the stones after this sequence but it was all so poorly executed (or edited, more likely) that I just nodded and moved on.

Thor has a barely-dramatized side quest that eventually leads to the "activation" of Vision via Mjolnir-powered lightning strike. Vision is so named in the movie because he was Thor's "vision" (the dream sequences mentioned above - all caused by the Scarlet Witch and her evil hexes - are referred to as visions

As with all prequel characters, I actually have no idea who Jango is, what adult motivations he might have, what his personality might be like (beyond "kind of bad then more bad later I guess"), how he might fit into the stories told about the few people in the SW universe we DO care about, etc.

Didja do it? Some of us *koff* may have just buckled and gone alone….

They rejected his script treatment for THOR: FEIGENAROK

Why are you spending all day trawling others' comment histories? The result is off-topic ad hominem.

That guy there? That guy's a "Follow".

The guy who's made a career of salty wisecracks just made some salty wisecracks.

upvoted for TR mention, always and forever.

In 2015, both of those jobs amount to babysitting.

The greater proportion of everything in any category sucks. Everyone who has ever made a claim to such effect was probably right.

Yeah, it's so hard to get an independent film made and delivered to viewers these days. All that uploading time…
