My question is, because of the disclaimer, will these actually be written books with information within them? Or because of the "texts may or may not actually exist" caveat, will they just be blank on the inside? I'm assuming they will be written books, since the covers aren't a marketing strategy by making them movie

Same with Castle, every time he finishes writing a book on the show, ABC releases a book about Nikki Heat. They're actually not that bad, and if you're a fan of the show, you can see from which episodes the story gets its inspiration from. Pretty cool and meta at the same time actually.

Thanks. I've done it before with a self-authored play, but it was in the student run theatre, on a $80 budget, and wasn't Science Fiction as much as it was about science fiction. This one should be quite excellent, I hope.

I sincerely hope that the royalty rights for this will be up for grabs soon. I'd love to produce this locally. I'm cutting my "Sci-Fi on stage" teeth with a production of "The Man From Earth", so I'd love to follow it up with this.

Wow, from stand up comic, to actor, to playwright, to Banjo Player, to Antiques Dealer, to Opium fiend. The man has a had quite a life...

...And don't forget Kevin Spacey as the voice of the Robot. Seems to be a habit of his after his performance in "Moon" as the voice of GERTY. Looks awesome.

"It's not a purse, it's a Satchel! Indiana Jones had one..."

How does the saying go...?

The dreaded and evil "Wallet Pizza" returns. Can we never be rid of this scourge!?!

Well, it kind of does if the auto makers are going to want to have access to those features for other uses, such as reading email and displaying it in the interface, telling you when you have a push notification, maps, turn by turn direction, web interfaces, and the like.

Sure, it wasn't full on dubstep. That I will admit.

From what I understood from the announcement, there is not actually going to be any Apple software implemented into the cars in question. What will happen is that there will a be a pipeline open for software from the car companies to gain access to features such as Siri, mail, messages, and the like (which is normally

What it doesn't tell you is that it works like shit, because a) few bluetooth mic sets that come stock in cars are sensitive enough to know when you've finished speaking, and b) Siri is still too dumb to know you haven't finished speaking into the crappy mic and goes off half cocked.

I was hoping they'd play some Daft Punk, not that crappy "Wub Wub" dubstep shit...

I love it...

These guys should be able to tell ya...

Something tells me that there is some error in the code that is shifting the graphical layer for the ocean names down and to the right. No biggie folks, someone just dropped a parenthesis somewhere, or put a minus in when it shouldn't be. It's a dev beta folks, for those thinking this shouldn't have made it out of

I think a better rule would be "no reboots". Remakes are okay, because usually they are self contained, sometimes with entire new takes on characters, stories, or throughline. But reboots just rehash the same shit over and over again, and that's bad enough when you have a big group of fans that were alive when the firs

Don't worry, as long as you can wait until late 2013, you'll get your reward (at least according to Tim)...

At least it's not a firmware update that bricks the computer. So, yeah, OSX reinstall is something of an interim fix, in the meantime Apple needs to pull the update from being sent to any previously released units and figure out where they dropped the parenthesis in the code.
