OK, I usually don’t get into these things too much, but this is a weird coincidence. In regards to the company name of “Garalina”

Yeah. I probably wouldn’t have agreed with them on that point even on 9-11, but everyone was feeling more more “hard lined” (for a lack of a better term) about everything for awhile. It was a scary time for adults (I was barely out of college) because you didn’t know who you should trust. Were the plane attacks just a…
105 hours into the game here. I find it almost insane that someone could complete the game 100% at 45 hours. There’s so much stuff. Granted, if you’ve done it before! But even at that....
Its amazing how Oreo even did a rip-off of the raised design on the cookie part.
I’ve also always wondered why Nintendo didn’t just include a free download of a classic game with their systems anyway. It would also double as encouragement for creating an account in the store and getting used to buying a digital game.
Wow. Well, its probably safe to say the Switch’s success killed it. The NES Classic was a dead-end as far as an eco-system goes. For some customers, Nintendo would sell a $60 product to them and that would be it. They wouldn’t be coming back for anything else- especially for the causal gamer who may not usually buy…
Oh man, sorry to hear that. Its amazing the things kids can do with a game controller in seconds. When my oldest daughter was about 2, I handed her my Xbox 360 controller and I was on the dashboard. In what was literally no more than a few button presses a a split second, she had initiated a party chat with a one of…
Yeah, I heard that they had actually made some good hardware later on, but after seeing the crap they made in the 90's and early 2000's, I always ignored anything they put out. I think for a lot of gamers who were buying hardware back then, they had a bad reputation and that’s a hard thing to shake.
I couldn’t fish the last stage in the 90s. I picked up the PSP port about 10 years ago and was able to finish it, but it was tough.
No, Mulder couldn’t finish the stage because he only wanted to believe. It’s like Yoda said, do or do not. If Mulder fully believed, he could have out-rapped Cheap Cheap.
glad its not just me. I remember this one being so hard back in the day and it still is....
Yeah, my 4 year old went through a phase of wanting the blind boxes. Fortunately, she seems to be on the other side of it now. She would watch those stupid videos (which were on Youtube Kids, of course) and would ask every time we went anywhere to go to a store that sold them. We would give in about two times a month…
True, I actually don’t even follow Mass Effect and had no idea how long it had been since the last game, let alone development. I was simply responding to people talking about the “they had 5 years and millions of dollars so it should be amazing” line of thinking- which is assuming they were in some form of…
5 years to make and a large budget are, many times, indicators of development issues, not development quality. If a game takes 5 years to make vs. 3, its going to be more expensive simply because you have to pay people for a lot longer period of time. It seems like they rushed to get this out because they got it to a…
Going to have to grab this. I was never able to finish the last level in Parappa back in the day. The last level always killed me. I found Um Jammer Lammy a bit easier. Hopefully they’ll do a remaster of Lammy, too.
Is still remember the first time I saw that egm issue at a mall book store. I was 14 and I was so pumped to try to discover him. My friends and I had already concluded Sheng Long was some powerful martial artist that Ryu had defeated because of his win quote. A week or so later I bought the issue and studied it…
Typical. The red states gravitate to Sombra.
I wonder how wide spread this is. I have one along with 3 friends and one of us have seen this issue so far. I did, a few days ago, put a $10 screen protector on mine, just to be safe- but I would have done that even without the scratched screen reports.

Yeah, the basic idea of the blades weren’t bad, I think the issue they had was they started to get unwieldy after awhile with some of the stuff they wanted (some needed) to be put in them. They basically were limited to 4 (later 5, when the store was added) screens with no scrolling. I do remember a few times it was…
Yeah, similar to the 360- remember the “blades” UI when that first launched? It was a far cry from what it had the last few years of existence. Microsoft isn’t afraid to make major changes to the UI, which I do appreciate as long as its for the better. (inserting ads into the UI was NOT one of them).
