I usually cut them up and then throw the pieces in multiple places. One or two sets in different bags at home, and one or two sets in another trash can or dumpster somewhere else.

Definitely. I mean, I don’t eve have to say there’s nothing you can’t do- at that age they assume it and this game delivers.

Yeah, but you could even argue what “sticking the landing” is. I mean, there are plenty of games that can be technically flawless, but boring games. I totally see your point, but I guess what I’m saying is- framerates, at least for me, don’t matter as long as the game is still playable and accomplishes what it meant

Ha, I think the original one actually was more accurate. He didn’t get anything extra from the game’s success because of the way he chose to get paid. If it was successful or not, he got nothing more. He did profit off the games, just up front.

Yeah, definitely. My 6 year old started playing Twilight Princess when she was 5 (She started playing the classic Sonic games when she was around 3.5 and progressed from there). She mostly messed around but got the gist of it. She also has been hooked on Breath of the Wild and has done a few shrines by herself and

Yeah, I think I can echo these sentiments. I was about 9 years old when when the original Legend of Zelda came out and I played through it. I definitely get some of the same feelings of exploration (and dying!) that I remember when playing it.

Very cool. In the first example, I wasn’t impressed- but the more I watched, it really blew me away. I played this game for countless hours (especially the SNES version) and seeing some of these combos seemed so weird in their timing because I’ve been trained over the years to think SF2 characters are untouchable

Maybe it is a regular saddle but Yoshi just has a big hump there? ...Maybe?

good point- its like, over time, what started as a saddle in Super Mario World morphed into a red turtle shell. Who would want to sit on that?

I’ve always assumed it has something to do with the deal they strike with the publisher. The publisher probably knows their numbers for a certain title and they probably take a lot of various factors into account if they want to put it up for free for a couple weeks or a whole month. I’m totally guessing here, but

While I think everything they said is 100% true, the manufacturer’s variation ended up with a controller that wasn’t up to operational spec. I guess that’s the rub. If I read this correctly, it wasn’t Nintendo’s design that caused a flaw, and it wasn’t a manufacturing problem, it was a choice the manufacturer made

My six year old daughter loves the Zelda games. She insists on call them all “Link and Zelda: {sub-title}”. She will never shorten them either.

No one is saying “don’t look at their experience”.

And, coming in the fall of 2019, Sonic Special Forces where each member of Sonic’s team has a special ops outfit that gives them each new abilities. They take on jobs around the globe as mercenaries. Of course, in a twist their client turns out to be Eggman and they have to take him down as the last mission. Oh, and

what do you mean by “classic Sonic”? I would think that would describe a 2D game, not a 3D one.

That’s awesome! Yeah, the depth in this game is incredible. The sense of discovery is amazing on so many levels. I was helping my 6 year old on her game a bit and was climbing around on some tall mountains and paragliding to the next one. My 4 year old came over, who usually isn’t much into watching games and she,

Yeah, I keep fast travel down to only using for for very specific things like fast travel to go upgrade my heart containers or special items- then fast travel back to where I was. Other than that, I’ve basically gone on foot because there’s just so much to explore. The amazing thing is how dense some of the areas

Yeah! She had me trying to catch one for her yesterday. For some reason she REALLY wants to ride on the smaller animals, especially the foxes. I have to admit, if you think of a mental image of that, it would be pretty hilarious. I’d love to see a glitch of that.

Same here. At every point in Zelda I have the main mission, but I really have 1 other thing I’m working toward, but then I decide to go do X because I see its over there in the distance, then I get close to X and see Y and decide to do that- and the entire time is fun. I’ve probably sunk 20 hours into it so far. I’m
