Yeah- I put in Simon Belmont. I’d love to see Castlevania get some representation.

I should probably clarify, I would later go on to beat Tyson with TKOs. I don’t think I could every KO that Mofo.
Cheesing, eh? Huh.. guess I've been doing that all the way back to the NES and never knew there was a term for it. I always just thought it was part of finding a way to beat a boss.
what's next? The NES Powerglove! Lets see that.
As a kid I started playing Super Mario Bros. 1 with my feet as a new challenge since I played through it so many times. I think I could only make it partway through world 1-2, though.
Seriously folks... you need to read more about this stuff. Apple and Google's systems piggy-bag on existing systems. Carmakers have to assume that not 100% of all users will have a smartphone. If you don't have an iPhone, you get the default stuff.
OK- one big oversight on the list. Washing your hands after using the bathroom. Was your hands after going #2 OR #1. I work out of a building that has multiple small offices spaces to rent, but there are common bathrooms. I can't believe how many times guys will not wash their hands after using the restroom. Recently,…
...but did he get all the hidden Yoshi coins?
no argument here- not sure why you said that as a reply to me. I wasn't implying that more testing would produce a 0 bug game. Just saying these games were not tested as fully as they should have been. No software is bug free. Games are more complex than ever, especially with online components and multi-lingual…
And now might be the time to start a company that does rigorous cross-platform, cross- language testing in short time-frames. Seems like the industry needs it...
Except the pumps have a bad tendency to spit out ketchup in all directions when they are low on ketchup. I've had it happen on me before.
Aren't they recycling VIN years now anyway? For instance, the way a VIN shows 1985 is the same as 2015. I learned this when I was tracking my (legal) Mini-Cooper. It was a 2015, but some online tools interpreted it as a 1985. According to the VIN, the vehicle could be brand new or 30 years old and legal.
I think you're missing the bigger picture. While no review system is perfect, by going with a yes/no review on Kotaku, they are refusing the play ball with metacritic or a similar approach of aggregating scores and giving the industry a simple, non-faceted one-stop-shop for "how good was this game" or probably a…
No, because it will somehow star Melissa McCarthy and we will all be sad.
Very interesting! I think I would agree with your approach. I taught high school for 4 years and was shocked at how well the students all took notes. I was then shocked at how poorly they did on short 10 question quizzes over the same material, sometimes taken word-for-word.
I think you missed the joke.
Seriously! I also love the enemy Ninja who says "Looks like you chose the wrong party to crash!"... in feudal Japan. I need to play through that game again, its been ages.
good to know- thanks!
I actually miss the bad voice acting in games from the 90s. I don't play for immersion, just sheer fun and I always loved Resident Evil's voices. Tenchu Stealth Assassin had some great bad voice acting, too.
