Honestly, I don't think asking the father of cell phones about smart phones make any sense. Smart phones are really phones only in name- they're really just the next evolution of PCs that have phone capabilities.

@ubikblack: No- but I got that for another game I registered.. It may have been the DS Metroid game- I forget now. I found it pretty annoying.
Totally not surprised here. I've been expecting this- as I'm sure most other people have been. :|
How often do you get to download new full games (Like Wipeout HD)? I've been meaning to get that for ages- so it would be nice.. I might be up for this if its a new full game every month or two. I think they should convert the Plus license on the free games to full license' if you renew the next year (or just do away…
The iPhone is a decent gaming device. I've put in much more game time on my iPhone 3Gs in the last year than my DS and PSP combined. If you spend a bit of time with some of the better games- nearly all of you major complaints will disappear. FPSs work fairly well as do several other genres. Sure- if I have the…
@dongola7: Mine has been running nice and speedy- although I've noticed some odd crashes. I had it totally freak out on me once where it flickered back and forth between two different screens in the app store- then it started showing the desktop (dashboard?) on part of the screen- and the it switched to the camera…
Yeah, I'd love to know what scratched it- I have a year old 3Gs which I've never had in a case and I've never gotten a scratch on the 'normal' glass or even noticeable ones on the back plastic.
But.. if you're at home and have wifi... your phone will already be using that and not the 3G network- correct? I don't quite see the issue here, unless these users don't have wifi...
@Run3f4n6: That was because of all of the wireless interference.
Of course there was the controversy over naming it
I could see this. I think I've only had one real nightmare since I was a kid (and I've been a gamer since I was young). The one nightmare I had was actually about not being able to control my own body. All other dreams I've had that were close to nightmares usually ended up being fun because I did have some sort of…
This works on the iPhone, too. You can swipe your finger in different directions to control Pacman.
@QuBix: Really? I thought Ninja Gaiden III was far more difficult that Ninja Gaiden I. At least with NG1 you had unlimited continues.
@JesusDeSaad: SNES SF2
I'd actually suggest just using an old version of Photoshop... 6 or 7. The older versions should have lower requirements, and there's not much that most people need in the last few releases anyway. Just a thought. But.. since you're on a Mac.. I'm not 100% sure if older versions work with version of the OS you're…
@greatinsight: yeah, I made the mistake of buying some cheese sticks (looked like string cheese) when I lived in Japan. I think I threw most of it away.. it was pretty bad.
Ha.. when I first saw the headline, I read the name as "GameWanger"
@jwrose: huh, that was supposed to be in reply to FAHtastic's comment.
I asked some of my adult students when I was teaching in Japan- and they said it was so you can use them in public restrooms- which may not provide toilet paper. Odd thing was, I never saw a public restroom in Tokyo that didn't have TP. Nice thing about it- I always had a nice stockpile of tissues for when I got sick.
I've gone on once or twice to play around with Home... The load times are crazy and it just seemed like a waste of time. I'm sorry, but when I use a game system, I want to play games.. not take 5-20 minutes to meet people to play. This might have been huge a decade ago- but now it seems cumbersome. I think it's just…
