I have seen so many warped framings and warped takes on this today.

Also torn. This is not a good look for anyone involved given the money and resources at their disposal. And yet...I feel kinda sure that if Reese Witherspoon or Julia Roberts had called up asking for the same thing it would have flown through without any issue whatsoever.

Below please find my response to a commenter over at TheRoot who co-signed up with the exec that implied she has enough cashish to purchase her own passes.

Yeah...no. Where it’s coming from is from people being assholes, full stop. If people’s “buttons are pushed” by “internet celebrities” or whatever you want to call them, it’s pretty easy to avoid. Just don’t follow them. Yeah, you’ll see some posts, but again, easy solution: Don’t click on them. And even if you do

Harassment is bad actually, and isn’t okay or deserved if the target is famous. Hope that helps.

Tiegen had been posting regularly about their journey with this pregnancy from the beginning. I can imagine that, having had the pregnancy end in this way, she would want to get out in front of the story and post it herself.

I’m not one of the Chrissy superfans, but I think it’s super brave and loving of her to post openly about this when it’s still such a stigmatized subject. October is pregnancy & infant loss awareness month, and many of the replies to Chrissy on Twitter do a great job of illustrating why we need to be having these

They’re all opportunistic douchebags. John Bolton could have and should have come forward with his knowledge leading up to Trump’s impeachment, but didn’t for the sake of book profits. And where was Mary Trump in 2016?

Every one of them can and should choke on a bag of dicks.

Heh this is how I feel about every Bob Woodward book. He wrote four books on how GWB lied. Like...no shit, dude, we know.

I feel like given the things we know about Trump because he’s done them publicly while in office (kids in cages, shitting on our intel and military to kiss Putin’s ass, admitting to breaking the law, abusing his office for personal gain, being overtly supportive of nazis and white supremacists, etc...) these “tell

I will drink but usually choose not to. At an event I didn’t have a glass of wine in my hand and a fellow attendee noticed, tried to get me a drink, and when I said I wasn’t drinking, said, “That’s awkward.”

This is what it is! And people have been saying “Well how did she do this for so long?” And (aside from that being a pretty victim blame-y question that ignores the MASSIVE power and influence she has in hollywood) it’s because her whole thing is being nice so if you even implied that what she was doing wasn’t cool,

There are SO MANY reasons people can’t drink

ABSOLUTELY.

Ellen’s “niceness” does generally seem to be a manipulative, passive-aggressive variety.  She seems to have a talent for putting people in situations where they look like the jerk if they stand up for themselves, even if they’re in the right.

That is a compassionate and reasonable thing for you to do. There's no reason work or school functions need to be held at a place that's primarily for serving alcohol.

As a person who doesn’t drink not because of any religious or health or addiction issues but just because that shit tastes nasty, how do y’all drink it I agree. I mean realistically when someone tells you they don’t want to do pretty much anything you can just leave them alone about it. They are adults who have made

That is bizarre.

Or in my case, I just don’t want to. And people look at me like I’m some kind of weird mutant for it. It’s gotten better over the years, but not drinking is somehow seen as if there’s something wrong with you for some reason.

THIS.
