But the gin itself doesn't eat beef, you see? I refuse to be wrong on the internet!

+1 on more people like you. Thanks.

Oh, I missed that it was supposed to be a series. hmmm. Maybe Jericho then. I dunno, I think "Bleak", I think "The Road"

I love post-apocalypse stories, but after reading synopsis of this book (and being a parent) I've avoided it completely.

The Road. This book depressed me for weeks. Completely, unrelentingly dismal vision of how the Earth ends.

Aren't there more than 13? I guess these are just the original ones that don't feature characters from other Pixar movies?

I've never really liked La Luna. Boundin' is my family's fave, though One Man Band and Lifted are very popular at my house as well.

I was 8 when I saw it in the cinema, there were cuts made to get a PG cert here in the UK but it's still really violent and has a pretty sinister tone throughout. When I was a kid I loved it, the more gruesome the better but looking at my kid I dunno how I'd feel with him watching it even in a few years ( he's 5 now)

Anyone who dares to criticize what Google does = "Luddite"

Well son, looks like you're just not cut out for the rough and tumble world of water park management. It takes a special breed: half in love with life, have in love with death, all stark raving mad. We don't care for fancy concepts like "computer simulations" or "engineering models." No, when we test a slide, we just

This isn't an article about whether the book is "true" or not. It's about why people are obsessed with it, and what the book is about.

You'll note that I linked prominently to Brad DeLong's criticism. I'm actually more interested in criticisms from economists than I am in the latest news cycle from the Financial Times.

Kansas City's 17-story water slide (the tallest in the world) opened up its pipes for a few human test runs, then immediately closed as the riders were LAUNCHED INTO THE AIR.

The first thing to come to mind and I'm not sure if people would consider it genre or not but The Road.
