The chase happened earlier this summer, and the footage is taken from an undercover Hong Kong cop car and was recently uploaded by Next Media.

I wouldn't initiate a firefight while I was in the car with my family and surrounded and outnumbered by hundreds of potentially armed people. I love my family. I'd be more concerned with protecting them than anything else. The last thing I'd want is to encourage a violent response to my actions.
