I hesitate to jump in here, but I'll just mention that there was a huge story of iPhone 5 failures - IIRC something like 5 million to 8 million iPhone 5s (5 plural, not the 5S) were sent back to Foxconn by Apple due to faulty manufacturing processes. That wasn't even at launch of the 5 - it happened in April of this

If THIS was the straw that broke the camel's back for you, you were probably never very likely to give sony your money in the first place.

Y'know, it never struck me before, but I think Brett Ratner looks like he could be Jonah Hill's older brother.

Yeah, that's my thought exactly. Leave Keenum in there, find out what you've got - will he work out as a franchise QB in the future. How does he handle various situations, what kind of decisions does he make, etc.

I didn't watch this game, but I can't believe that Kubiak benched Keenum in favor of Schaub. I mean, unless Kubiak's arms and legs fell off, Schaub has done NOTHING this season to hold on to that job.

Yeah. Props to the artist, because it's a nice piece. But I'm having trouble seeing Michael Biehn anywhere in that face.

Yeah, I can't buy into this being related to the movie just because studios are so insanely protective of stuff like this. The chances of WB allowing concept art out while the film is still in preproduction seem almost nil to me. They may choose to release some art at some point, but it will be via a more official

Interesting, but not unanticipated. Plus, not likely to have the effect you think. First, Los Angeles actually owns the land in Owens Valley, not any N. CA government entity. Second, a move like this would be expected and hard-fought battles would be planned for control of the Valley. Third, although LA does get a lot

I get the crumbling teeth nightmare often enough that I'd classify it as recurring. Interestingly enough, after years of good dental care and no indication of problems, my long-time dentist noted I had micro-cracks in nearly all my upper teeth. Too much clenching and/or grinding, I guess.

Admittedly, it isn't science fiction or fantasy, but I've read Lonesome Dove at least 6 times since high school. It's an amazing novel.

Damn Django. Clean that mirror! But your costume is awesome!

I use Merkur and Feather myself as well though I tend to favor Geo. F. Trumper for shave creams and facial care. Their Skin Food line is glycerine-based, goes on with a mild scent (limes is a personal favorite), and can be used as a pre- and post-shave treatment.

The guys doing voiceover in games are typically doing a lot more than just cold reading in a booth. A lot of times, they're the men and women in the mocap suit, on stage, acting it all out as well. I've been lucky enough to work on some really big titles and seen what they do firsthand. It isn't as easy as you want to

Skyknit is now on line.

Alex Jones doesn't scare me. What scares me is that there is a not-insignificant percentage of the citizenry of the United States who will watch this and nod their heads in complete agreement.

I still play Scramble with Friends. But nothing else by Zynga.

Man, for a second there I thought you had some kind of weird Socratic sexual fetish...

You better have your temperature checked. I think a fever has addled your brain. Never Say Never Again better than Thunderball? Preposterous!

Hmmm....I tend to think it more likely that in the mid-seventies when Star Wars was being written and produced, nowhere near as many people really cared that much about techno-babble.

I think they're just trying to provide a convenience for people who want to play some of these games now, and may not be buying a PS4 on day one. I, for one, won't be buying the system on day 1, but appreciate that I can still play AC3 on the PS3 and then upgrade the game once i finally do by a PS4.
