That the WW movie might be directed by a woman makes no more difference to her potency and agency than does the fact that the character was created by a man. She's an awesome character and she deserves an awesome movie; whether the movie is directed by a man or a woman is academic.

I don't see the point in hiring based on sociopolitical agenda; just get the best person to do the job.
