I know keeping track of lore is a favorite pastime amongst nerds, and I even understand the appeal of it. But I don’t know any property that has more than a few iterations that manages to keep its mythology completely airtight. Even Tolkien didn’t manage it between The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings, and that’s just

I enjoyed the episode, but I couldn’t help but keep thinking about how almost none of the characters in peril could die due to existing continuity with TOS.

No.

Google makes enough money selling my data so they don’t deserve to get money from me directly. All the youtubers I watch have merch stores or pateron, so I support them directly that way. If they did this, it would hurt the youtubers because I’d stop watching and buying their stuff.

Either that or if you want to exploit this tactic, the copyright should revert to the creator, or the work should go into the public domain.

The less we talk about season 2 the better. It’s pretty obvious that at some point halfway through season 2 the contracts for the whole original cast came together for season 3 and the writing staff literally just gave up. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that some intern actually wrote the back half of season 2.

Shelby’s lucky she got shot instead of being investigated for THAT level of fuckup going down on her watch.

Couple things that really got to me after the first viewing (so obviously, spoilers):

Worf: “I’ll make it a threesome.”

The first Jedi, dude sits under a tree until he becomes Neo from the matrix.
The Mandalorian 6 seasons and a movie, the movie
Ray homeschools a bunch of force sensitive children, hits them all with reeds. About half turn to the dark side once they become teenagers and insist it’s not a phase. Ray shows them holos of her

Love the idea of a Star Wars film modelled after Biblical epics. Despite no longer being religious in the traditional sense, I feel sad that the Cecil B. Demille Biblical epic vibe is largely gone from cinema. One recent film that is an exception to some extent is Villeneuve’s Dune, I would say, although the most

I really liked the Expanse....but I don’t know if I’d call it “popular”.

I’m all about a Captain Shaw series!!!

What is it with this show bringing back legacy characters and then killing them off? The rest of the TNG cast better watch their backs. (I’m still salty about Hugh.)

I didn’t get the impression that she was becoming a follower at all. This seemed like an opportunistic thing, she needs an army, and a place to live.

Because her home got blown up and she’s in another person’s house now, being offered sanctuary and protection in exchange for following these rules.

The New Republic is West Germany.

Pershing’s “It was a trap!” protestation directed at the Mon Calamari was particularly amusing.

But this is not a show cancelled because the ratings were not there.

In this case, I think you’re ignoring a bit of the complexity.
