Whoa... you had Facebook in high school... that's must have been so weird...

So long as the next Doctor does things differently, and that different way works, they'll pull it off... how someone plays The Doctor, but differently, and does that well, I do not have a clue.

True, and while I did mean "most men" when I said "most people", I'm pretty sure it still applies if actually meant "most people". From the women I've talked with, the same logic applies: no chance of pregnancy=no condoms.

Considering there isn't even a test for HPV in men, I really, really do not understand why the HPV vaccine isn't applied to men/boys as well. It's really rather mind boggling. Herd immunity, people! And I don't think it applies at about 15-40% of the population.

The vast majority of people I know wear condoms to prevent pregnancy, STDs are just a side note. I'd seriously suggest looking at a study of, like, how many men use condoms with women who aren't on the pull but don't with those who are. So if every guy suddenly couldn't cause a pregnancy, condom use would surely

I appreciate that last map, because it makes Canada god damned massive, and gives us control of the American side of Niagara Falls (I guess the Superman scenes undisputedly took place in Canada now!).

Fruity-chocolate does not sound like a bad thing at all.

This is why, as someone with a pay-as-you-go phone, a real pay-as-you-go phone, I don't count people who set up auto-withdrawls and bank accounts and credit cards with their phone as people with a pay-as-you-go phone. If you've got it auto-deducting your money, then it's just a regular phone, the only difference is

Remi Aubuchon took over Falling Skies? Apparently I do need to check out the second season. I really did not have any hope after that very, very, very weak first season, but with Aubuchon in charge, it's definitely worth a peek.

Don't worry, I'm sure the microbial life won't survive in ice, ice which eventually gets used for water by human settlers, releasing the long-trapped microbial life into the bodies of humans...

Apple didn't invent the apple, yet they can sue anyone who dares to use the word or a picture of an apple, even the notoriously litigious Appleseed family—why can't Microsoft sue the pants of anyone who dares to disagree with them? Steal Apple's lawyers if necessary.

To be fair, series 6 opened with (spoilers) The Doctor dying... but, of course, he didn't when that was finally resolved. Plus, I love Matt Smith too much to be able to deal with him leaving any time soon.

Jerm of 2001 is pissed and worried about my security.

Yes.

If the tracks didn't cut in front of your plate, and if the trains could be set up to carry actual goods (salt, butter, the bowl of mashed potatoes, etc.) to specific people, this could actually be a really good, efficient, intelligent, useful creation.

These holes, however, eliminate the ability to contain any spillage to the tray itself, which, in addition to moving multiple items easily at once, is pretty much one of the two purposes a tray can serve.

I don't think medical procedures come down to "what you can afford". Medical treatment should be available for anyone. I resent the idea of one set of procedures for the rich, and another for the rest of us.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Instagram is worth a billion dollars, but ornate, detailed models of sea ships made in the 19th century out of bones by POWs are only worth tens of thousands?!?

Babies of rich people who can afford this?

Can't wait until Sweden wakes up to discover the country has been turned into Minecraft.
