Nothing, if you don’t suck at driving. But for those who do... it’s fairly curvy, relatively narrow lanes, some significant and sudden changes in elevation. Not really the best things to have on one of the three major east-west routes in a county with 1.4 million people.

NASCAR’s National Motorsports Appeals Panel upheld the two-race penalty lodged against Matt Kenseth for ramming Joey Logano’s car at Martinsville Speedway.

And I’m willing to bet that if this got him parked for two races, they’ll Mayfield his ass if he goes anywhere near a Penske driver at Homestead.

Kenseth all but spun himself out at Kansas then cried foul play when he kept pushing the faster car into the wall while blocking.

The wreck logano “caused” was at most a racing incident. He continued to block excessively and he paid the price. Even if Logano was at fault (he wasn’t) it was a minor scrap as a result of 2 drivers racing hard.

Completely different situation. Racing hard for a win is one thing. Premeditation and attacking the race leader when you’re multiple laps behind due to prior collisions (caused by Busch running into Brad K.), and then suddenly accelerate into the corner instead of slowing down and turning while the leader is passing…

I was such a Kenseth fan especially when he raced for Roush. I thought Kenseth had more class than that. I am disappointed.

Now I know you couldn’t have missed the fact that in the series you mentioned, contact from blocking is extremely detrimental, not to mention dangerous, to the cars and drivers involved.

Ok, I don’t watch much F1, but I’ve never heard of excessive blocking. I can see an excessive blocking penalty if you are a lap car blocking leaders, but two lead cars duking it out for a win should never get a penalty
