This place really has fallen apart since Torchinsky left.

I’m glad these folks are calling it out for what it is - irresponsible. I used to be of the mind that people should be able to buy whatever automobile they please, however when it leads to increased traffic, increased wear-and-tear on infrastructure, increased pedestrian related deaths, and a more polluted

I have no way to know whether she’s fun or not, but she’s absolutely right. These ads are glamourising [sic not sic] the exact behaviours [sic not sic] and attitudes that are destroying our climate and environment and will be killing us at an accelerating rate. So I guess I don’t give a fuck about her personality.

I’m surprised it took this long. Truck commercials come in two flavors:

They also claimed that the video was shot outside the UK on private land

Thank you. Everyone gushing about this van doesn’t know about how terrible the leg room is - especially for the passenger. That, along with the guarantee that you will - at least - be a double amputee if you rear end anything or get hit in the front while driving this thing...No, thank you. Plus, unless you just can’t

Not exactly the frozen northland, but I saw “relatively” a bunch of Rivians in Vancouver BC lol.

Here in Las Vegas/Henderson, it seems like 1/3 or more of all Amazon delivery vehicles are Rivian vans. They’re awesome to see, and one benefit a lot of people may not think about is how super quiet they are, which as someone who works from home can attest, it’s not a minor thing.

I see a couple R1's a day here in Denver. Vans are a little slower...only seen one so far.

There are three in my village / town of less than 1000 people.

Just go to any “tech hub” city and it’s gonna be like that... It’s about the same here in Seattle area.

In fairness, I don’t know what it’s like far east - they may be different (particularly in Quebec!), I’m really only familiar with the western province’s fire engines.

THIS....is most likely why he’s sellin’.  Ignorant to the finer points of the health dept. requirements.

They don’t have to keep repairing the bridge. The I-beam they installed right before it takes the impact first. Anything that hasn’t been sheared off by the beam will hit the bridge itself at a much lower speed. It’s a very clever solution, and it almost certainly saves the taxpayers millions of dollars every year.

So what, there are sewers. Relocate them. It’s not that big of a deal.

What part of “prohibitively expensive”are you having problems understanding?

The bridge is not being damaged, these idiots keep hitting a sacrificial bar.

Where do I get tickets for that?

Huh, I find out my expected pay raise isn’t going to happen on Splinter. Nice!

They heard you... which is why the 2019 Ford Mustangs now have a starting price of $392,599
