They can use water and human waste as a radiation shield, coupled with a radiation eating algae (Chernobyl fungus) lining for good measure. I’m curious how well of a shield all three combined would be. We can make the waste easily enough, farm the water from the moon or asteroids/comets, and the algae we can grow and

Alan Moore has given up on ever getting money from DC for Watchmen.  He expects to never see a dime.  He also despises his work being translated to any other medium, because it was MEANT to be read in a comic book.

Eh, I already have the show on DVD :-)

I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in anyway the social and political equality of the white and black races — that I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I

So how long before we see doctors cutting the umbilical cord with a Berretta instead of a knife?

Abrams has a good eye, minus lens flares, but he’s a shit storyteller.

I thought Force Awakens was a decent A New Hope rehash, and I actually liked the chances Last Jedi took (other than assassinating Poe’s character traits) but Last Skywalker is a true dumpster fire.

Centurylink is constantly going down, for those stuck with DSL. And their speeds aren’t great even with bonded DSL.  Fiber I don’t have much experience with in terms of support...but I’m constantly getting complaints and outages with Centurylink all over the country.

I’m so glad Charter/Spectrum has no limits. At 200 Mbps/sec it’s plenty fast too. Comcast typically has had awful speeds, from what I’ve seen, in comparison.  I have the bottom tier is speed for my area.

I’ve never equated racism with intelligence.  They seem mutually exclusive.

Clearly it was a hurricane forecast. It said to stay in the cave.  /s

The unflappable Russian picked himself off the ground, brushed himself off, and then went back to scraping the windshield.

Poe is a great example: in the first movie he’s a decent guy, calm, collected, and moved with purpose and was rational. In the second movie he turned impulsive, man-splained, and made irrational choices bypassing the chain of command.  It was like he became a different character.

Hot take here, but I actually liked Finn, in the movies. Did he get short-shrifted, yeah, but Boyega did a damn good job with what he had. I liked him as an actor, ever since I saw him in Attack the Block (great film btw). Having been on the inside of the First Order (against his will, admittedly), he knew exactly

The answer is “Person, woman, man, camera, tv”

Because he’s “immune” now to COVID.

That man is smarter than all of his cohorts, even if he’s kinda dumb.

One would be led to believe they’d have no problems letting these people go to war to die.  It hurts my brain trying to figure out conservative logic.  I’m glad to see Biden plans to reverse it, it’s a stupid policy.

Please don’t make me listen to their poetry...
