Saudi Arabia would beg to differ.

America will never be a third world country. A third world country was one not on either side of the Cold War with the USSR. It has nothing to do with their progress or state as a society.  I wish people better understood their history.

You can be charged and convicted of resisting police even if their orders are unlawful. It is always advised to follow their commands, but you can argue with their validity. Video is your best defense, get them back in court. Fight them, and lose (with possible jail time), even if innocent.

I thought the cops handled this particular situation remarkably well. They are obligated to follow up on witness information and readily admitted to the guy they didn’t even believe it was him, but were compelled to do their due diligence. In regards to race questions, yes I’ll give you that most assume either black

I highly recommend watching “audit the audit” on youtube. These videos are highly informative and shows how wrong, and in some cases right, police operate within their legal scope. All of them show a similar depth of what’s going on and the context of the situation with legal insight, as well as evaluating the

This video does a great job breaking down what the cops are allowed to do, and where they went wrong, as well as evaluating how well all parties involved handled the situation. I highly recommend watching it as it’s very informative. This video is of the very in incident in the article.

I was replying to the OP's statement that the offenders had to turn over their phones for perusal.

Maybe they should let a man with a suspicious umbrella get too close, and bypass the impeachment altogether, Putin-style.

Unfortunately that’s unlawful search and seizure, unless they willingly turn that evidence over. That being said, they’ve certainly demonstrated their inability to recognize this fact when investigating other groups, but I think they’ll claim that to defend their own in this situation.

I did misspell it, should be Kristallnacht: night of broken glass. It was a night of a pogrom, German SA troops and civilians went about killing a ton of jews in Germany and vandalizing their establishments, in 1938. The police and other citizens pretty much stood back letting it happen, if not participating.

CNN is screaming it was a failed coup attempt and sedition.

Are you referring to Krystalnacht?

Unfortunately, I believe that would have gotten her shot, had she pulled a gun.  Guns just make the situation worse by escalating things.  I'm pretty sure a cop would have targeted her as soon as she brandished the firearm.

...and with plastic riot shields.  I saw them on video breaking through the windows with clear plastic riot shields.

They're saying now 4 dead with 52 arrests and 14 medical emergencies.

Good for Detwiler not backing up this monster's story.  We need a lot more of that.  Clearly this former cop was a menace, he should be in jail from the sound of it, and put on trial, but he probably gets immunity for being on duty when it happened...which is insane.

We didn’t have true dominance till after WWI. We’re barely over 100 years into world dominance, and it really didn’t happen till after WWII, having that superpower capability. It was mostly due to our industrial mobilization during the war, and not having to rebuild our country after the war ended.  Before then we

Didn't used to be the case.  I know my mother got decent treatment at Walter Reed and Bethesda.  She also got care in Milwaukee and Tomah.

Thank you. She was an amazing person. I think the universe put her in a wheelchair just so the rest of us could keep up. She did a lot of pro bono work after retiring so young, and I don’t know ANYONE that didn’t like her. That is simply astonishing.  She was very social and had many friends across the country, and

My mom was career Army and almost discharged because they thought she was a hypochondriac always having injuries and shit. It was a small miracle that one of her doctors put the pieces together and successfully diagnosed her with MS.  She was a major, and also a nurse.  That said, she got a lot of care and assistance
