Looking at the online reaction I don’t think anyone at Bioware are going to have an easy sleep tonight.

Underwhelming is an overused word but not here, wow that wasn’t great, the wink and nod from Respawn reminding they have a Star Wars game in the works was my only highlight. I’ve already dismissed Anthem as EA Destiny and even more so now. All you had to do was show a wheel and a Skate 4 logo and win the day EA. Who’s

There can’t be a worse conference than what they had.

Well that was a pretty tepid showing.

I guess EA wanted to make amends for screwing up lootboxes for the rest of the industry by setting a laughably low bar to beat at E3.

That was agonizing.

And the Anthem section was bad. Barely any actual gamelay. I don’t know why I even bother watching EA’s presentations anymore.

This was pretty lack luster when it shouldn’t have been.

Warframe : The Division.

Skeptical as fuck, but if they can do what division couldnt and be competent on day 1 then who knows.

Them trying to force co op down the games throat and not scaling gameplay really fucking blows though, but Ive handled myself in other similar games.

Confirmed no romances :(

I’ll give Andrea props for doing her absolute best to bring a shred of fun and excitement to what is sure to be E3 2018‘s most anemic presser.

All anyone wanted to see going into this was two things:
1. Respawn’s Star Wars game, which is still MIA
and
2. Tons of Anthem info and gameplay, which we kind of got, but they

Honestly... this presentation worried me more and more about Anthem. First, I’m skeptical about the story focus in a mulitplayer game, it just has this annoying tendency to not work that well... but okay, maybe they can pull that off.

Good cause Bioware is a soulless shell of it’s former self.

Why make a new IP when they could have just used Mass Effect? BioWare has been going downhill for a long time, and I don’t have any more faith in them.

Yeah the entire showing screamed Destiny, somehow with even less personality.

Call me a pessimist, but this looks like a killer game...as in, it will kill Bioware.

I somehow was even more confused by this game after the presentation than before it and it took me a moment to figure out why. So Bioware’s central pitch that this is a co-op game build around a strong single player narrative experience, but then they utterly refused to actually tell us anything concrete that

Yeah, when I watched it I only found gaping holes in the stories, like “you’re celebrating a milestone birthday/getting married/battling cancer/having a baby but you have NO family to participate?!” My favourite take away from this show is when Carrie was facing eviction from her apartment and declared that she had

I’m so on board with the Anna Delvey news. That article was a wild ride. One of those truth is better than fiction kind of stories.
