Yes, but I can do so much more than natural light with a lightweight tripod, a speedlight and a remote trigger. The natural light is my key light, my flash is the fill light. It’s super lightweight and easy to carry around on a shoot and it makes for much better looking photos.

Does anyone know if I can still take advantage of this after I've already pre-ordered my iPhone 6? I'm upgrading from the 5 to the 6, and I always like to keep my old device as a backup, but it would be nice to be able to get rid of my iPhone 4 for a $200 credit from AT&T.

I have never been bitten by a dog. Period.

"EVERYONE has been bitten by a violent dog at some point in their life. "

I never have. What an asinine statement.

Seems like a good use for this might be "where can I reasonably go to grab lunch without getting stuck in traffic". Particularly if someone is traveling on business and is at meetings in an unfamiliar city where lunch is not provided.

Wait, are you really claiming that I made that whole story up? Well, I suppose I can't just make you believe that it happened, but it did (and we haven't been back there since because of it). It was worthless service in a near empty restaurant at 3 in the afternoon. I don't expect to be treated like a princess, I just

But what about when it already takes a really long time and someone is served with great indifference?

I'm pretty sure that actually happens. So... what's your point?

Why is someone automatically a cheap bastard if they don't tip, or leave a tip lower than 15% on horrid service.

Example: Last time I was at Old Chicago, our waitress took our drink order and then didn't show up at our table again for another 30 minutes. When she finally did show up, I ordered a calzone, my wife a

Not for the time during which it's out. =P

Other than a few personal photos of friends and family this is probably the only thing in our house like it. Most of the rest of our decor includes figurines and such from our favorite sci-fi and fantasy franchises. So I suppose you're right, in this case it is indeed part of the "one or two" things.

It didn't really take near as long as you'd think. I think the whole "project" took an hour or so. We did it one evening while watching TV, no big deal.

Get your initials (in this case out last name starts with S, my first name starts with J and my wife's first initial is E) as wooden cutouts from Hobby Lobby; buy some twine that you like and cover the letters with it (I think we used hot glue), and then use hot glue to add some artificial flowers that you like. Easy,

Just to double check - is 7.0.6 still a jaipbreak-able release? I haven't jailbroken my phone yet (iOS 7 has removed many of my old reasons to do so), but was about to. Can I upgrade to 7.0.6 and then jailbreak, or do I need to do it on 7.0.4?

In case anyone is looking for a mobile app that does this well - Shopper has been my go to grocery list app for a few years now, and it does a pretty good job at "learning" the layout of the store. It mostly figures by department in the order you frequently check things off. The only issues I run into are when my

Yeah, that's what I was indicating by "the old fashioned way". Ultimately though, ISPs are really standing in the way of people moving forward on this sort of thing.

Not a bad idea. Although I may have to wait a bit. I just built a Raspberry Pi based HTPC setup for the living room last month. My wife will give me one of those "WHY DO YOU NEED ANOTHER ONE?!?" talks if I do it now.

This sounds like it would be a great solution for me, excepts current setup has a couple of snags. I don't currently own a desktop computer, so an "always on"
main source to sync from isn't available.

I'm not as good of a manual reader as I probably should be, but boy was I when I bought a Canon Rebel T3i about a year ago. It was my first DSLR, and I ordered it from B&H. I downloaded the PDF of the manual the day I places the order, loaded it on my Kindle and read it cover to cover, twice, before my camera even

I really want to want a Chromecast, but I just don't have a need. We have plenty of ways to do Netflix and YouTube on our TV (Bluray player, Wii, Wii U, HDMI cable from laptop, etc), and I have "built" a Raspberry Pi based XBMC HTPC that houses all of our media, and I can drop any new files onto it whenever I wish.
