Everytime I see a 250 selling for these kinds of numbers, I think about this video... and I kind of just laugh.
Grab your beater and burn off those old winter tires. It's like a very late equinox/ Easter ritual.
Solberg's crash at the rally Germany in 04. Look at where the rollcage ends up in relation to the co-driver's helmet. Bloody concrete stumps...
Yep, both Japanese body kits taken to the extreme.
Kind of a fan of this one too, though it's a little more Ghia than Alfa.
Miata coupe + aftermarket front end = pseudo Alfa? This seems like it's been a long time coming, If I'm honest.
No, that's actually a new thing for this year. The LED's are hooked up to a proximity sensor. If the car is within a foot of the wall, they flash to tell the judges that their line is good. Sometimes that's really obvious, but often it's not, and the sensor adds a thin veneer of objectivity to a very subjective sport.
Nobody cares if you drive your CXT at home, on the farm, or anywhere else where it *might* be useful. If you use it commute or carry less than twelve people anywhere else, that's offensive.
Everything you listed after the "but" has nothing to do with drifting. You're confusing "drifters" with people who actually go drifting and go to events. They are not the same people. Specifically that viper douchebag... wtf is his problem? This guy in the video... he's having a great time. Clearly. What's wrong with…
Meh... good car control maybe, but I still don't think he's actually drifting. He's transitioning, which is good, but still, this is all donuts, controlled with throttle application in the occasional dab of E-brake. Nothing special. Not that the driver isn't capable of more, but this particular video is not a very…
Or you could commission a couple nimitz-class aircraft carriers at about $4.5b apiece
Donuts =/= drifting. I know the video says drifting, but that's not what this is. This is drifting. Note that it requires more than just throttle application to control the drift. Note that the guy in my video is actually working his ass off to keep the car sideways, and note that his slides are accurate, precise,…
+1 for this... one of my favorite videos
Yeah, I'd take the Torino too, and that was kind of my point.
Can you go faster in a nicer car for 26k? I doubt it. NP.
Not liberal logic- idiot logic. There IS a difference. :)
German cars are always about the pinnacle of achievement in whatever they do. Nothing represents the pinnacle of its art at the time more than the auto union streamliners.
I think you're missing the point here. The M6 isn't a sports car, it's a Grand tourer. It's made for long distance, high-speed cruising, not track work. It's meant to be decent on back roads and a consummate performer, but it's not really a driver's car - It's job is to make the driver look good, not test their skill…
Even a review about his experiences could have been good, but this... just kinda unfocused.
