Can confirm. With the Jalopnik Bump on the front of our borrowed Mustang, we were the fastest course opening car at Black River Stages in 2015!

I had a 96 SL2 whose engine was hand rebuilt within warranty for excessive oil consumption before I got it. Those hand built engines were the best. Never burned a drop of oil, and dynoed 124hp to the wheels with nothing more than an intake. Stock rating is 124 to the crank on a DOHC.

There sure is a lot of smoke coming out of that Saturn’s tailpipe. A Saturn??? Burning oil??? INCONCEIVABLE!!! :D

I don’t know the numbers, but given the global appeal of the hatch I’m also surprised they dropped it instead of the sedan. Maybe it’ll come back in the next generation.
