On my WRX, a Cobb Accessport and stage 1 tune. Yeah, there’s more power, but it’s SO much more consistent, and easier for everyday driving. Before I’d get 80% throttle at 20% pedal travel.

In fact this exact car (previously mine) is for sale at the dealer across town.

I’ve found myself switching from sport tourers to cruisers as I get older. I was never much of a sport rider to begin with anyway, and a cruiser is just the right tool for the right job for the kind of riding I do these days.

Parking enforcement could make excellent use of EVs. They travel slowly around the city, stop to issue parking tickets, and that’s it. Some large city should pick up a bunch of Fiat 500Es, the new cheapest car in America. Easy to park, too.

I can’t see EV police cruisers working, seeing as how some departments swap officers on different shifts into the same cars and run them 24/7. Though I suppose if they could be recharged in an hour or two it wouldn’t be so bad, because there’s always paperwork they have to do back at the station. They may work better

Which, considering how frequently cars are bought or sold across state lines, would pretty much negate any benefit of every state making their own rules. There would be so many exceptions under this rule that it wouldn’t even be worth doing.

Neutral: That would be pretty crazy. I suspect that, as is the case today, states that want more strict standards would agree on exactly what those standards would be. Currently thirteen states (including my home of Massachusetts) plus DC follow California’s lead, including many of the more densely populated states in

Not unrealistic.

Ha! I love the NASIOC plate frame on the Chevy! :D

Timothy Dalton was not only James Bond, he was also Lord President of Gallifrey, leader of the Time Lords!

Get the SS while you can! Act now while supplies last...

Nice! Me too!

Good advice! And you’re right about the BRZ. This sounds like personal experience talking...

Because of course this happened in Massachusetts. Everyone drives like this here.

I just got my WRX a couple of weeks ago. It’ll be a very different snownut experience than my BRZ, but I expect it’ll still be fun!

I shall endeavor to do as you suggest. Subaru style.

Now playing

Another good tip to avoid getting sucked into engines is don’t piss off Malcolm Reynolds.

Anybody remember Tucows?

I love the sound of these with the exhaust in loud mode. Sometimes I pass an F-Type S going the other direction on my daily commute. When I do, I have to roll the window down to listen to its music.
