The ongoing joke was... another scandal, it must be infrastructure week! Now..... if Manchin and Sinema would pull their heads out of each others’ asses we’d would (likely) have the actual bill signed!

Yep... right near where the 303 and I-17 meet, the whole 303 corridor is set to develop like crazy. I find it odd though that a semiconductor plant is very water intensive, why build there? Likely tax incentives. Should have built in the Oregon Hillsboro area instead.
COTD :B
The Element is the way to go on this one. As a former owner the amount of space is amazing and I really miss having a tailgate. Cons, little sound insulation and thin seats. One bugaboo is to watch the transmission, the automatics fail somewhat so make sure to have a PPI done or a least really watch how it shifts…
I do not know the timeline of your friend. Predating the move to Chicago, which was an FU move to Everett, was the Boeing and McDonnell Douglas merger. Basically Boeing bought MD and MD management culture took over which was bean counting instead of Boeing’s old culture of engineering excellence. The result, lower…
As an owner of a 3rd gen and 5gen 4Runner... can attest to the old school of the 5th gen. I love it, with the manual transfer case in the Trail Edition and it’s easy to modify and work on.
I welcome our new Jalop Engineering overlord, welcome DaSilva!
You could send this article his way and see if he does a video about his fleet of Explorers.
As a current Bronco II owner (see my profile pic), can sympathize. Replacing the power steering pump is my next wrenching project on this thing.
Are you trying to make David Tracy cry?
With pleated slacks right?
Excellent choice, just swap the tires on it with set of Nokian Hakkapeliita’s and he’s set for the winter.
As a Portland native, if this BMW lived its whole life in Portland (or Oregon in general), it likely is rust free or close to it we the roads are not salted here (yay!). As usual though, even if sorted, there’s about 28000 gremlins in the future for this car, but I’d still take a close look if I were in the market…
You know... I’d really ask Scottie Kilmer, maybe he has an opinion...
See if you can find a unicorn bug eye that hasn’t been modded on Cars and Bids. You’ll pay for it for sure, but oh so sweet.
Right! Yes you are correct sir, it was GM in the Geo Storm version, and Isuzu was (maybe still is) partially owned by GM. What I meant to say was comparing the build quality to ‘mainline’ GM, Chevy, Oldsmobile, etc.
I owned a previous generation Impulse, loved that car and was plain weird in all the right ways. I quite like the generation here and agree they were pretty cool. I always liked the partial covered over old school round sealed beam halogens. The main issue over the long haul was build quality (still better than GM…
And you could fit a couple Yakima cargo carriers on top with those roof rails! Long roof and low height (to get to the cargo carriers) for the win!
I am active the in 4Runner community. Mega lift kits when most will remain mall crawlers and those Gobi ladders on the back. I’d be afraid I’d bend the hinges to rear door over with one of those ladders, just stand on the back rear tire like I do to get at items on the rack.
In all seriousness they should, a cool two tone gold/black. They could put similar looking special edition wheels with it. Seen this vid many times before, love it every time.
