As a former flight attendant myself. Biggest issue, you rarely get enough sleep. I was lower in seniority, so 4-6 flights a shift, you’re dog tired at the end of the day. I was an FA one year after 9/11 of passengers were usually nice and had deference to our staff. Being a FA now having having to deal ‘but ma

Kenney has always been a douchebag and this is further proof. His predecessor Rachel Notley (NDP) is running against him in March. May she win, she was a great premiere when she was in office.

Right.... cart before the horse. So, go ahead and make a turbo’d 400hp Outlander for racing, which I think they could do if they had the will and support from management, then offer a consumer ‘ralliart’ version. Like the Evo was.

Or a teenager ‘borrowing’ their parents car late at night to go see your special lady friend.  Lights stay off until down the street.

The whole list, sure... agreed. Specifically from this list though is the Maxima. Another commenter is should be RWD. Agreed, make it the modern G37 of what it was back in the day. RWD/AWD, a lot of power and torque, a solid double clutch transmission (if auto), if manual, use the 6-speed from the new Z.  Basically

As a born and raised Oregonian, live in Central Oregon now. Man, driving at night in the rain is awful. I have lived in Virginia, DC, NYC, and Arizona also. I have good lighting on my truck but the road is just ‘black’ with markers and lines that are hard to see. Living in Central Oregon with much less rain, way

I live in Central Oregon, and a Subaru (and a black lab dog) is standard issue as we get a lot of snow. They seem to drive similar to everyone else around here which isn’t bad. Better than the bro dozer drivers.

I’ll cut jhota42 some slack.  You can still hate a car an be grateful for it (and parents’) generosity at the same time.

I have thought about a TourX but not yet and thanks for your insights. Maybe in couple years.

Welcome Duder! Yep write well, and NYC is a treasure trove of good car stuff, let’s talk about parallel parking adventures on the upper east side on a Friday night in an extended length cargo van. #DoneIt.

Good God... I also had a co-worker who lived in West Virginia and commuted into downtown DC every day, insanity.

I visit Flagstaff on a pretty regular basis.... ‘just really stoned’ rung a bell.

I’m with you on this superstition (per se). My college GF, whom I made the mistake of leaving later on (I was 20 hey). On our 2nd date, all green lights all the way to her place and that never happens. Then to top it off, her ‘date’ she had later cancelled and I stayed until 1am, needless to say we were mutually

THIS.. THIS... this is why we love you Torch. Your flag commentary is spot on, and the Yugo is spot off, until you spot rock fix it.

I get your point on that one. My big issue with the majors (AA, UAL, Delta, others) is that we (taxpayers) did a bailouts a couple times prior to the recent CARES act bailouts. With those earlier ones stock buybacks should have been prohibited as a condition of the bailout. From 2009 — 2020 (or so) airlines were

As a current Bend resident it has gotten way better for routes. As for the Seattle route operated by Alaska Air Express, likely still expensive though. As a former flight attendant for Horizon Air (now AA Express) if they had a lock on market they’d charge up the nose for sure.

Duder drives a Roxor... he had to replace the Toronado after it hit an abutment.

To... be... fair... Cavaliers are know to run the shittiest for the longest amount of time.

As a current resident of Bend, it’s gotten better.  Although depends on the carrier and destination. Flights with larger aircraft such as 737s, no prob.  Security lines nowadays are quite short and the airport has been remodeled to quite a nice terminal.  Still gotta walk the tarmac though, for which I find sort of
