My Telluride is on its 4th notice since I’ve purchased it to not park it in the garage. So ICE vehicles arent immune from an ol’ fashioned garage fire either.

All of the charging BEV fires I have seen have been based on significantly higher voltages than 220V. Unless you have a news article I missed, the fires are not happening in home garages.

Or just have homeowner’s insurance and you won’t have to live your life in fear.  There are a number of other things that could cause a fire in your home, just sitting in there right now.  Are you going to put them outside?
