Ehhhhhhhhhh I can't agree, though maybe I worded their position a bit strongly above. I feel like the line between not being pro-choice but still having discussions about the ethics of abortion is a very fuzzy, gray, wavering one. Can't we still discuss the ethics without being branded as not pro choice?

Sadly, I'm quite certain they would judge me. Most of my friends have stated that they would not want a disabled child because ultimately when they're gone the person would become a burden on society, so, I think they would view me as selfish and doing a disservice to society should I give birth to a baby knowing

I appreciate your response! Your first paragraph sums up precisely what I feel. And I did not know that fact about Margaret Sanger, I'll have to read up on that. Thanks!

I guess I think it's sad, I have no way to qualify it really. Maybe because I like diversity in all its forms, and find alternatives from the norm very much needed in a society bent on perfection in looks, intellect, and economic production. I get it, each woman absolutely has the right to make her own choice. But

I often feel when it comes to conversations like this that maybe I don't belong on Jezebel because disability-based abortion is deeply concerning to me personally. Of course I do support a woman's choice regardless. Your comment is so rational and fair, please comment often!

Interesting, I guess I see prochoicers / antichoicers on a spectrum. I haven't really thought much about how to categorize them before.

Are they really antichoicers though? It sounded in the comment like they are pro-choice, but simply want to educate (albeit in a shrill manner) that one shouldn't abort simply because the fetus is developing abnormally. That said, it seems like they misunderstood Davis' issue, that the fetus really was in pain and

I really appreciate your response. I have a cousin with Down Syndrome and I too know that people with disabilities can lead very fulfilling lives. I 100% support every woman to make her own choice, and while stats that have been thrown around about the high numbers of fetuses with disabilities that get aborted do

I imagine that when she typed out that line she karate chopped the air and high fived the angels.

The first ever article I read by Lindy:

tell your girl friends if you plan on hooking up before you leave to go out

I can only assume this article is a rationalization of his behavior or stuff he would do. I really hope there's no gals at his university who have been victims of him that have to read his shit.

Why do I have a feeling he would have free reign over any woman who comes to his room at 2 AM? This sounds like a big rationalization of stuff he's probably done/or would do.

Lindy, you're too good for this place! You're a writer I love and have always loved and have never disagreed with. I want the best for you, good luck in post-Jezebel life!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT?! LINDY IS LEAVING?!

Fade, fade, fade. Shrink, shrink, shrink.

Instead, my fellow Asian models and I were more often depicted as adventurous, assertive, career-oriented women who always did our best despite the challenges we faced overseas.

Oh my wow. I have never been to one of these things, clearly I've been messing out.

Your comment is lazy.

I WOULD READ THAT I WOULD READ THAT!!!!!
