I’m pretty sure it had something to do with demons from Hell.

Pressure to be the first (by even a few seconds) of a thousand outlets to report tends to have a negative effect on fact checking.

When I’m rolling in that Nigerian royalty money, I’ll be having the last laugh.

The news agencies seem to be falling for “internet pranks” at a higher rate than email pen-pals with deposed Nigerian Princes.

I doubt it was even so singular a decision as Paramount making the call. From comments made by other people/groups related to the film or the Ghost in the Shell franchise... the only people who thought a Japanese actor was the “only good/right decision” are entitled white Americans on Tumblr.

She gets Link’s characterization perfectly. Most notably his utter disregard for other peoples’ pottery.

40 years ago, I had a filling that cracked without my knowing it. The resulting abscess ate right through the bone of my upper jaw, but caused no pain whatsoever that would have alerted me earlier. I guess it was only when the abscess ran out of space that it started to hurt.

If the first one was infected, that might have been the issue; they’re harder to anesthetize. I’ve had two root canals on uninfected teeth, and they were a breeze. They were 2/3 of the way through the first one before I’d realized they’d even started.

Soooooo how soon can we fast-track this technology because I have one that needs filled in the next few months. Soon? Please?

I was never a road rager, but driving in the US definitely made me nuts. Then I moved to Saudi Arabia, by some metrics the most dangerous country for drivers. Then I moved to Cambodia, where they drive even worse. I’ll never complain about US drivers again. Trying to explain how badly people drive in Cambodia would be

Why can’t the solution just be to educate our drivers more?

In a situation where the choice seems most likely to be “all or none” (as in all automated or none are)... I will absolutely choose the “all” option.

How? The data collected. Easy, peasy.

I’ve lost many classmates to drunk driving, I’m all for reforming the DUI punishments. If manually controlled cars simply require a more advanced training and autonomy becomes the norm, I’m all for that. I spend hours every day sitting in SoCal traffic watching people around me text, read, eat, etc. The fourth/fifth

I look forward to automation. People cannot drive in this country. Driver education is designed for children, testing is minimal and is taken ONCE, even if you get in bad accidents every few years. Punishment is metered to the opinion that driving is a necessity of life and permissions cannot be taken away.

That’s a apt summarization of your “argument,” yes.

Don’t even bother. HighCharity is a child with a childish understanding of everything. Look at his comment history, it’s pretty much all hate under the guise of weird regressive liberal protection. Everyone is racist, sexist, etc and then gets accused of having a micro-penis or is then called “hun”. He’s very angry,
