Clinton has made several comments about how she let B. Clinton play a major role in her economic policy. Given that, I think it is worth mentioning the results of some of his policies and the fact that she keeps mentioning them in a positive light.

She has said, on more than one occasion, that she would put her husband in charge of vitalizing the economy. Being worried that aspects of her administration may mimic his is valid.

One of the reasons may have to do with the idea of crony capitalism. Some people may think that the next best thing to regulating big business is not regulating them at all if they see the only alternative as politicians who operate in the favor of corporations. Who buys her book? GOP shills and her publicists might buy it in bulk to drive it up bestseller lists and then give it out as bag stuffers at conventions and conferences. I remember reading or hearing that it is a common conservative tactic to drive up a book’s ranking the first few weeks.
