Using 'jive' when we mean 'jibe' . . . .

Jabber jabber jabber!!

Well yeah, I wasn't trying to champion this minor joke as some kind of revolution in word play, or the genesis of a stinking pun.
It was just a joke that synthesized some familiar beats into a timely albeit minor bit of business on a basic cable television show.

Disorienting to have Sharon Lawrence come into the show right after Sasha Alexander left, between the physical resemblance and then eventual dawning of fact that they played mother and daughter on R&I.

What exactly, in your opinion, would it be awesome if the story were about?

I'm not talking about thinking of the joke, or even making the joke.
I'm talking about timing things so there's at least A CHANCE the joke is actually halfway funny.
Use the joke too soon, and just makes the character[s] look retarded. [perhaps not unlike the folks you hear the joke from all the damn time]

Positive word led me to check it out, regret doing so.
Good Lord, the pilot is like a massive rummage through the catchbin for every exposition and deus ex mechina tidbit scribbled down in a pot haze.

Love love LOVE, Common People, but I can't weep or get goosebumpy to it. It's been on my permanent cycling mix since my mix was on MiniDisc.
That's my 'pump those legs through the woodlands' music.

Sia - Breathe Me - particularly if you listen watching the closing scene to 6FU

He Stopped Lovin' Her Today - George Jones

Great Gate of Kiev - Mussorgsky
Yellow Ledbetter - Pearl Jam [also, the SNL performance of 'This is Not for You' from the Saturday after Cobain's suicide]

40K-60K a year is ridiculous outside corporate sales.

I see them more as fussy people who have to be right and love to bicker.
If it's good enough for Frank and Marie Barone to become sitcom legends, it's good enough for Cam and Mitch.

"Shoutout to Alex, whose “Is that why you’re dressed like a hookah?” was a solid burn that went unnoticed."

He doesn't need to cook, Glimores buy tons of food but never eat it.

"Do we decimal?"

I eat meat
