Wow - sounds very cool!! :) Congrats on your find!

Thanks for the laugh - I needed that! - your fellow dessicated spinster

Definitely a club I'd be happy not to be a member of. ;)

That's great that you have a roommate who can at least help with groceries & errands. Fingers crossed your employer will let you work from home & that the doctors will be able to figure out a longterm solution to your problems soon.

I can see where getting to

Who the heck has an outdoor wedding in Texas in August??? So sorry.

I've never tried the aspirin+Visine thing - maybe that'll work best - but since it had pus in it, a triple antibiotic cream (over the counter) might help. If you can clear up the underlying infection, that'll prevent it coming back.

I'm sure it is. I've dealt with some frustrating medical issues & chronic health problems, but nothing like what you've had to deal with. Do you have family nearby that can help you? How are you going to get to work?

I'm sending hugs and good wishes too. No one should have to deal with health problems like that in their 20s. At least you finally got diagnosed. Sounds like you are doing the best you can to get through a shitty situation.

We must share the same brain. ;)

I'm so sorry for your loss ... and what an awful dream. :( Hugs.

I frequently have some variation on this dream too - like I really, really need to go to the bathroom, and the doors on all the public bathroom stalls are missing, or they keep swinging open/not locking when I try to close them.

THIS. What is it about turning 40 that does this to us?? It's just a number, right? My dad died when I was almost 39 (I'm 42 now), and I think that combined with turning 40 has made me hyper aware of mortality, my young years being over, etc. It's ridiculous how much time I spend ruminating over these things now.

I wonder if she's related to the woman who backed into my car in a museum parking garage and then tried to drive off and leave like nothing happened? :P Only she couldn't get away with it because she drove the wrong way and had to turn around to eexit. Maybe I should give her credit for actually stopping on her way

Word. I went to prom before social media existed. Maybe my grandmother got a copy? I can't remember ... the rest are still parked in a drawer somewhere!

My prom date asked me in front of a bunch of friends at the end of the school day (and this was 20-plus years ago). In hindsight I guess he was attempting a "prom-posal," but unfortunately I was so shocked all I could do was tell him I'd talk to him later! I feel bad now because he was a good guy and I know he meant

It's so hard to see our furbabies suffering, I know. :(

I have been on BC for about 15 years now primarily to help with cramps. So no, it doesn't matter at all if she needs them for their intended purpose or not. :)

Congrats!!! So happy for you!!! :)

What a sweetie you are to care so much. It sounds like you're doing the best you can from a distance. Is your gf on birth control? I used to have cramps like that — getting on bc made a *huge* difference.

So glad you are still with us. Wishing you even brighter days ahead. :)

Meow. I'm jealous. :)
