Sooooo very almost. :)
Sooooo very almost. :)
Peter Clines' "Ex-Heroes" stories are fantastic. I'm almost at the point of grabbing random strangers on the street and insisting that they MUST read his books. :)
I never learned traditonal touch typing; I'm just an extremely fast seek 'n destroy typist :)
If they have an accident with the cryonics system, would that mean HEL froze over?
While they may be structural weak points, I think the potential psychological benefits would outweigh any negatives. The mission specialists being able to see outside for themselves would be a huge factor in keeping them happy and stable. I know the argument could be made for 4 or 5k display screens taking the place…
My older sister got a Creepy Crawlers set for Christmas in the late 60's. It was a blast! We never hurt ourselves on it; I remember being able to walk down to the neighborhood store to buy refills for the rubbery plastic to make the creatures.
I won't remember me after today.
A cartoon I did a number of years ago that seemed appropriate. :)
My high school physics teacher, who also had the school's only computer in his classroom. I wandered in one day to see if I could get a look at the device. Mr. Edwards spotted me drooling over it and asked me if I wanted to try it out. He then handed me the owner's manual, smiled, and then walked away. That was the…

Each astronaut was given a segment of the programs to "own," such as module design, spacesuit function, etc. Aldrin was responsible for a lot of the planning for testing programs for Gemini, including orbital mechanics.
Aldrin was called "Dr. Rendezvous" by the other astronauts because of his mastery of orbital mechanics. If I recall correctly, his doctoral thesis was on the subject.
There's a sale at Wal-Mart for aluminum foil. You might want to buy a couple dozen extra rolls for your hat.
As a long-time reader of the original Guardians of the Galaxy, complete with Yondu, Charlie-7, Martinex and Major Vance Astro, back when they were fighting the Badoon and long before Nikki came on the scene, I absolutely LOVED the movie version of Yondu!
quote, "And of course there's always The Incredibles, which isn't exactly a comedy but is always worth watching." ... What? The Incredibles most certainly IS a comedy, with some serious stuff thrown in for good measure. "No Capes!!!!!"
No. That wasn't a prediction. It was presented as a bald, declarative statement.
Must be pretty boring to know so much about so many things you have yet to see.
Carp diem!
