Well, since she has a measurable effect on your creative output, maybe could classify her with quantum mechanics? Instead of qubits for quantum computing, she could be measured in mubits, for creative impulses per follicle...

Therein lies the rub. Would make for an interesting graph, though. Think of the potential for publishing the results!
Aha! That would explain why my hair is mostly gone by now. I always suspected there was a causal relation between # of hair follicles and muse contentment.
Can't have a muse become grumpy. It leads to all sorts of problems, none of which are pretty. It's akin to becoming spiritually constipated. *shudder*
Nothing worse than having ugly reality get between a muse and her creativity. Nothing good will come of it, mark my words! (except for your class and paper, that is :) )
Now, how could I be so cruel to your muse and tell her something like that? Especially when it concerns stars? :)
That's actually a good question. I probably am a niche case at this time; however, (without anything other than my gut instinct to guide me) I think that it will become more and more accepted as time goes on. It definitely (videoconferencing in general) hasn't achieved the widespread usage portrayed in sci-fi, but I…
Politely disagree. FaceTime has proven to be a HUGE win for myself and some of my friends. My wife & I have helped our good friend who lives on the opposite coast take care of her ill cat by using FaceTime to coach her through syringe feedings and other medical procedures. Also use it for keeping in touch with my best…
Sorry. 3DO was AWESOME. I (foolishly) gave mine to a friend when I moved out of state, and it's still chugging along. Plays the BEST version of Star Control II, lots of other really fun games.
Then again, maybe it's a planet with wanderlust, casting itself to the stellar winds to seek its fortunes... :)
I'm going to politely agree to disagree on the LaserDisc. At the time, it blew VHS tape quality out of the water, with better picture resolution, Dolby sound, true freeze frame and slow motion playback, chapter selection, etc.
shudder You're right. I managed to forget that.
Oh. Wow. She's not even making ANY kind of sense... is she? Seriously - does anyone know if she's babbling something that holds together in whatever bizarre logic frame of reference she's using?
At what point would the protein benefits from the bacteria outweigh the vomit-inducing poisoning effects? More importantly, could you deep-fry that stuff??? :)
Silent Running had some great footage.
Easy. He'd be a pile of radioactive, rancid, tapioca.
Orange you glad you thought of that? (Ducking and running)
Well, if you take dramatic poetic license, you can use incorrigible :)
Dirigibles, please :) They just seem even more cool than blimps!
Interesting... So, the detectors would still function somewhat like a Geiger counter, in that they looked for ionization effects. Cool!
