Shaken, not stirred.

Stop reading the articles.

If you're a regular reader of iO9, you should probably have picked up on the fact that movies, especially scifi/fantasy ones, have TONS of concept designs, sketches, etc.

That is an interesting design; it seems to fit in with the biotechnic-feel of the rest of Krypton that the movie showed.

Failure to satisfy your delicate artistic palate doesn't make their art department inept.

"The Puppet Masters," another Robert A. Heinlein book that got mangled in the translation.

I suspect a potential "gotcha!" in this is the nature of the chemical - if it's the wrong kind of sugar, would it lead to diabetes?

Phiring Phrasers, Keptin!!!

Lights!

Looking forward to purchasing it. I'm waiting for the iBooks version; it's still in pre-order status.

Dammit. I should've gotten the La-Z-Boy.

Hence "Phantom" ;) ;) ;)

Ha! I wish I could "star" this one multiple times!!! I wouldn't miss it if there was never another celebrity gossip blurb for the rest of my life. :)

I actually really enjoyed the movie, although I wish they'd toned-down the kid's hypersonic shrieks when he threw down the challenge :)

Not sure; could be a combination of new programs and techniques. Either way, the end results are fantastic :)

Nice. I like the body language of the robot after he clobbers the trainer.

My Dad, a very down-to-earth barber, brought my friend and I to see the original "Alien." Dad really didn't know what to expect and all three of us had the crap scared out of us. It was a blast, though, and he still talks about how after the movie we dropped my friend off and how he ran for his front door in the dark.

Frankly, I don't CARE if it's squamus or rugose!

The Continuing Time series by Daniel Keys Moran: Emerald Eyes, The Long Run and The Last Dancer.

Yes. YES YES YES. Loved these books!
