Walk this way!

Yes!

Yeah, they could do a lot better for themselves by coming up with something a little more unique than this. Love to see them put some more effort into differentiating themselves.

I'm looking at this picture of the Spectre and I'm looking at it on an iMac. Darned if they're not ridiculously similar. Overall design? Check. Keyboard? Check. Trackpad? Check.

I would have.

Think you nailed it. The sheer number of permutations & combinations that could come through their doors would be enough to bring the strongest genius to his/her knees.

I'm all for wind power. My only concern is what, if any, local or regional climate/weather patterns will be affected by large turbines. Wind plays a HUGE roll in moisture conveyance, among many other things. Just hope someone is looking into what possible consequences there may be.

Can you imagine what would happen if some idiots decided to hold a party in there, got drunk or stoned out of their minds, and accidentally broke the glass?

The one Brad I know, should. He was a very pompous ass and incredibly full of himself. I seem to recall he ended up being a lowly DJ at a small radio station in Maine.

Might be different for their own workplace, especially with creative-types running rampant. I suspect that even if the basic palette is monochromatic, there'll be a lot of artwork/murals/whatever, hung strategically.

Until my connection speed increases significantly, and data caps are lifted, nope. Blu-ray is good enough for me until then. (edited typo)

"Everyone" meaning people who typically read tech sites like this one. "Everyone else," meaning your typical person who just wants to buy a nice ereader from Amazon.

Depends. I love the overall look; with these being black & white renderings, it's hard to tell how much, if any, they plan on using color. If they have lots of rich primary colors in strategic locations, I could easily see this as being way cool.

Total Lunar Elipses.

[Your Name]@Bacon.com, please. 'Cause, ya know. Bacon.

True; could've been using lightyears as a measurement of time, too - that's a personal axe that gets ground a lot :)

The "Footprint" entry for the Kindle HD reads as "TBD (11 hours)." Must be a new chronal measurement ;)

That's awesome! I'm hoping stuff like this makes it onto the blu-ray. Has anyone heard anything about a "deluxe" version with more stuff in it, or is this going to be the only version released? (yeah, I know - probably no way of telling at this point.)

For possibly practical terms, if this technique allows imaging of individual electrons, then they might as well be considered to be in a "fixed" orbit or or at some location on the surface of a theoretical shell. That's a mighty big "if," though!

It's weird for me to see such old-looking footage and realizing that it all occurred during my lifetime.
