One of these days, before Alzheimer's sets in, I swear I'll make it to a Con while I can still enjoy it. :(

Nope. Clockwork. Just waiting for someone to wind him up.
Thanks for the recommendations; still rather see The Avengers on the big screen.
Sorry :) I'd rather see The Avengers again than anything currently out. :)
Wow. What an amazing person you are.
Still waiting for someone to get their hands on a Surface to try it out. Doesn't it bother anyone else that Microsoft hasn't allowed reporters to touch/try the thing yet?
"Fever" and "feverish" are wonderful ways of describing his artistic output and style.
Sad and unfortunately not shocking. I wonder if anyone has done any studies on the percentage of ignorant forum and message board posters?
I think the major problem with people who refuse to believe overwhelming evidence is that they don't even realize that they ARE ignorant. You nailed it - they're proud of what they feel is their intelligence compared to everyone else.
It's not the numbers, it's the amount of noise they create, way out of proportion to what they should be able to do.
That's an interesting way to look at it. You're a better person than I am :)
I had the unfortunate pleasure of working with a gentleman several years ago who thought that the whole lunar landing was a hoax. Oddly enough, he also ended up being a devotee of Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck and Tea Party politicos. Irony alert: he had no problem using all of the technology derived from the space…

I understand what you're saying; I'm just pointing out that the QB is receiving a fairly strong signal that could be picked up by passing aircraft - less interference going straight up from the ground station to a plane than a signal going through buildings. Either way, it's disturbing that radio equipment is picking…
Yeah! VideoToaster and LightWave!!!
The one thing that drove me crazy was playing "Guess The Show Time!" It constantly got bumped from one slot to another, at least where I was living at the time. I never knew up until the last second when, or if, it was going to be shown.
Very true. Those two really made the series. Fascinating to watch how their characters evolved. The acting was terrific from both of them.
