You're welcome! :) I'd love to get one for an office, myself.

Found the link: http://incredibleworld.net/2010/01/archipod-a-sphere-shaped-office-for-your-garden/

There's a company that makes these really awesome half-sphere offices that can be set up in your backyard. I'll try and find a link ...

Ok, this whole conversational thread is a perfect example of jumping the tracks. The article is talking about how freaking AMAZING it is that not only are some of the flags on the Moon are still in one piece, but they've had photos taken of them! And yet, this has devolved into a snipe-fest over the relative bravery

What aspects of the Wacom Cintiq do you like the most? What don't you like? I've been drooling over them for years but have never been able to afford one.

Cripe. Hope he didn't get stepped on in all that crowd!

I want "The Atrocity Archives" by Charles Stross. It would have to be "R" or "NR," though, to do it justice for the sheer horror in it. Fantastic story, wonderful & horrifying concepts. If you haven't read it, you're doing yourself a disservice. Stross has a really quirky sense of humor and sarcasm that plays really

I love the Gemini missions. I always get cranky when they get glossed over or skipped. I really like how the spacecraft was so responsive and maneuverable. The missions they accomplished were wild, especially considering how just about every one did umpteen things that no one had done before. It's too bad that the

Wow. Those photos are fantastic! I'm actually surprised at how relatively intact the wrecks are, especially considering what they went through and how long they've been submerged. Thanks for posting your link!

Typical. Doing something just for the halibut.

Just so long as the dragon doesn't have an asbestos vest with "FBI" (Fire Breathing Investigators) emblazoned across it. That's always a dead giveaway.

That first photo is the one I most often associated with the test; I could be thinking of another "official" one, though. The others in the article are new to me, however.

Could call it "Loaf Bites!" Or "The Scarecrow and Mrs. Tring!"

Just for the sake of argument: what if we'd gone ahead and made that new harbor and widened the Panama Canal or made a new canal through Nicaragua, instead of umpteen above-ground tests that accomplished nothing other than to gather data and spread fallout? Note, I'm NOT advocating this! I just wonder how things might

Good point. It's been a very long time since I watched that one - forgot about it (or never picked it up the first time!)

Not much different than people back in the pioneering days who gave up everything on the long shot odds of making a new home on another continent. Very few had the opportunity to hop back on their sailing ship and head back for home, despite failed crops, sickness, unruly natives, etc.

Remember, the Knight in the cavern was very old; just hadn't died yet.

I still want some third party to get hold of one and be able to try it, rather than just "ooh" & "ahh" over some slick hand-waving. Could be the best thing since sliced bread, could be a vapor sammich.

Speaking of Easter Eggs ... anyone remember the doozy that was in Excel at one time? It contained a fully-functional 3D flight simulator. If I recall, that was back when they were still distributing such things on umpteen floppy disks, too. Could be wrong on that one - might have been CD-ROM by then. Anyone else with

Wow! Any idea what model company put it out? Was it Revell or someone similar? That would have been awesome to build & have :)
