Trucks (and crossovers) are big, comfortable, skirt CAFE, and don’t get horrible mileage anymore. They also cruise at highway speeds without issue. They will sell regardless of how “cool” they are. Wagons and minivans were never cool, they provided cheap practicality for families, which is why their popularity went

Sorry the comments are powered by a wheel I have to cycle under my desk and I have a weak bladder.

I signed in just to give this comment the biggest thumbs up possible.👍

I get that, but in the non-coastal states, as the original commenter pointed out, if average commute is ~20min (let’s say 15 miles) each way, alone that’s easily 5 days commuting, plus some ~50 mi for other needs, like groceries, soccer practice, church, mall, dinners out, all before you consider regenerative braking,

“Who let the engineer weld again?!?!”

How could you miss the Mitsubishi SX4?? Sex for who? Sex for me?? Sex for you?? Somebody’s getting laid.

Was the Chevy Luv

I’m not sure it’s necessarily a pecking order in Asia. The Japanese look down on anybody who isn’t Japanese, while the Chinese and Koreans hate the Japanese for genocide which they pretend never happened. Chinese and Koreans don’t like each other much either because both peoples constantly argue over who came up with

It’s a word that you do not say unless you are a member of the group to which the word refers, and then, even then, be careful to know your audience. Some NASCAR driver who is neither part of that group nor participating in a private activity with other members of that group using that word in a negative manner

Yeah, no. Educate yourself. This is a garbage take.

I look at gas like alcohol.

There’s a certain time and place where both a real hoot.
Go to the track, go for a fun drive, vroom vroom, etc.
Go to the bar, get some wings, have a few drinks, hang out with friends.

But I wouldn’t want to see exclusively one or the other. For example, I don’t want ALL liquids to be beer.

A solid axle isn’t that big of an advantage in a quad motor EV setup it will be independent suspension. Whatever crawl ratio can be done in ICE, EVs can do with better modulation. With a quad motor, you put down precisely the amount of torque at precisely the speed necessary to get over an obstacle. No mechanical ICE

All you need is a white top.

All chaps are assless , because otherwise they would be pants.

From someone that regularly watches movies in all those classes but has never thought to classify them - that’s fantastic work Torch!

I’m sure Adrian Newey will come up with some sort of brilliant way to make flexible helmet aero bits, that somehow meet scrutiny during parc ferme, while MBZ will allow it’s drivers to move their visor with their tongues, in a completely legal manner but to the protest of every other team, and Ferrari will figure out

“You provided nothing to back up any of your claims in this article.”

You’re never too poor to have an opinion. You’re just too poor for you opinion to matter.

Funny thing is, at 3,300 pounds, Cup cars are lighter than most street cars now......
