Though I agree, is that a joke? If so it's not a very good one. It's Rage.

It's your opinion. Personally I think Warzone is the easiest. I think it's always been the easiest. What it comes down to is how you like to play Gears. I prefer fast paced close quarters combat. I can sit around and HB at a distance all day long. It's boring. Generally speaking, earning your kill in gears has always

Sawed-off.

Warzone was fun in Gears 1/2. The guns are so much stronger in Gears3 that it's a lot less exciting. The intense combat is largely gone. You mostly see people not moving with ARs or running in straight lines with DBSs.

Gears 3 had a beta. It actually sold a lot of people on the game. It also played about as good as a demo. All it really was doing was testing servers and fixing minor little glitches. It played well, and though people complained, it was good for the community.

Co-op of the same game...and why would I pay $15 more for a couple more hours of gameplay. That's $75 for close to 20 hrs. I'm just saying, for me, it's not worth $60. I'd like to rent it or buy it used and play it once though.

Yes. If 15 hours is all you are going to get out of a game. 30 hours total for a second playthrough with no MP. That's really short. I play games for days. Skyrim is 300 hours. 15 for a game focused only on SP is short.

I don't buy that. That's like saying, "Hey we dont' think people are excited about our game." Look they are trying to compete with the giant that is CoD. They can't afford to have anyone who is on the fence hop in the beta and be met with an extremely poor experience. People are basing game purchase decisions from the

15 hours short. Skyrim is 300. Heck Gears 3 campaign was 10-12.

A beta this buggy this close to release is concerning. I imagine the console versions already went gold. Meaning this is less beta, more demo, more minor tweaks you may see in a TU.

I'm with you. It looks fun, but seemingly short. No FPS multiplayer significantly diminishes the amount of time I'd play this game. Maybe $30 and I'll bite. Just not 3 discs and $60.

I get that it's a beta, but this close to release any changes are going to be very minor. I imagine console versions have gone to be pressed (or will very very soon). To me this is less of a "testing for issues" beta and more of an ad for the game. Hope people are enjoying the rest of it.

"Windows Phone may be second best, but frankly, for the first time in a long time, that's good enough."

You'd be mistaken to think that wouldn't happen to iOS if carriers had the permission to do so. It's not a problem with Android, or a lack of confidence on a manufacturers/carriers perspective. It's business. People treat all flavors of Android like they are equal. They are not. Samsung, Moto, HTC all put out there

I'd say it's quick to see why this is the best Gears game yet. The flashback sections, the more intimate moments with characters, and more importantly a heightened attention to personal struggles.

Not only does it run really really well (and better than any Gears title), the whole MP experience is amazing. I was ready to write off Beast mode as just a tag on addition that no one really plays, but it is awesome. Haven't even touched Horde 2.0. Regular MP is playing great.

He will, because at the end of the day, it's not effecting the skilled players. You aren't losing because of that gun, if you were, then you weren't that good.

CliffyB has a great interview after the beta where he addresses the sawed-off hatred. It basically went something like this "wah wah I'm 75-10 and that dude just killed me with a sawed-off, that gun is broken, this game is terrible. Bro you are still 75-10."

Well the 3rd is the best of the series (or at least shaping up to be). If you can manage to wait for it, you might enjoy playing through the first two campaigns, then going straight to the third. If you plan on playing MP, you'll want/need the practice.
