No, that's not how it works. I don't understand why people continue to assume that this content is in any way, shape or form finished and ready to ship. They just sent gold master for Gears 3 a week ago or so, they begin to think about and map out the DLC offerings and have decided to offer this pass as a discount for

Even if it's 4 map packs (valued at $10 each) you are saving $10. They released a lot of DLC for Gears2 (mostly map packs and a story expansion) and you'd just be guaranteed this content for a flat, cheaper rate up front. It's not a bad deal if you want all that content, and I'm sure they will detail what the content

It looks good. Honestly, after Gears2 my faith in the 3rd dropped significantly. The beta was solid, Horde 2.0 looks good and the campaigns have always been good enough. This will be a great game and the best Gears yet.

It's a competitive FPS. You want it to run well before anything else, then worry about how it looks. I'm sure they are working to update their outdated engine, what releases with it will remain a mystery.

I feel the same way. It just played terrible. It wasn't smooth, the whole firing/aiming system was bad. The graphics bad, the destruction / scripted (hardly there) / AI even worse. It was all just not very good at all. Let's put it this way, there was just nothing fun about the demo.

Simply put, the demo was terrible. Don't look, just go play it. Honestly, I haven't played a game that felt/controlled this poorly in a long time. In the FPS genre, I just can't believe you can get that wrong. Control is everything for a shooter.

I don't get it. You seem disinterested in the game/series. Why do you care if it exists? You may not find it fun, but I'm going to bet others enjoy it. I also bet there are people who don't enjoy the games you play.

They never saved the game online. The people who did, now have to have their saves downloaded locally and change the save pattern for the game all without being reset. I'm not saying it's hard, but it's completely different from the pirates who simply just took away the online part.

I enjoyed it. Thought it was a lot of fun. It is less God mode and more overseer than anything. Only once in the entire game experience was I able to freely build a world. The world was also very, very small.

"This development time is required as we are working to ensure that those who have already started the game, and who's progress is currently saved on our servers, will receive and save their game information locally."

"I own an iPad, everything else sucks balls."

They are one of the only consumer electronics companies out there that is truly design centered. I think they have been a little lazy lately, not really innovating like they did with the original release of the iPhone, but still they are pushing well designed product packages and no other competitor can really claim

I read this in Game Informers on-going month coverage. All of the weapons seem way more personable than in the last game. The brands were meaningless to me in the original, hopefully this changes that.

It's a lot harder to make enemies actually play "smarter" rather than just booth their health. Honestly, I'm ok with how it is now. I just don't like the never ending amounts of enemies.

What they did to the IW team has nothing to do with CEOs trash talking other games (a terrible business decision, but probably better for us since they are making their own new IP now). I expect it from fans of the series, but not from the CEO.

Just wait for the fall. My bet is on a big football game and/or MLB Playoffs as a kick-off for their trailers and such. They always seem to tap that market. Also, no amount of marketing for BF3 will dethrone CoD. They are completely different games in terms of gameplay. That's not changing, nor will the sales numbers.

I agree. Whatever magic the Burnout series had (which really brought a lot of life into the racing genre) is lost in this trailer. I loved the crash mode in whatever burnout it was apart of.

Yes it is totally selfish. Us Android users would like some better looking apps.

She looks equally generic with each color. I hope this wasn't in response to the "uproar" over picking the blonde chick. Just let everyone pick their hair color, grow some balls and pick the color for the cover yourself. That said, either darker color would be my vote.

They could be doing away with the soft touch buttons for ICS. It's hard to really tell in the pictures, but I could see the new phones getting smaller and keeping bigger screens. It's got a little N8 vibe going on with it's tapered corners towards the ends.
