I guess my point is, they decided not to show the games that didn't look that much better than the 360/PS3 and then decided to show 360/PS3 footage of games made for those consoles. So the footage would have looked just as good regardless, why not show the games in development?

I can't decide if that's better or worse.

It's value though. I can get MS Office for $5 at my local campus store, or Open Office for free. I don't think I'd buy any of my software through the Mac App store, nor does $100 help that cause. I much rather use student discounts on software at our campus store (or online) where it's all cheaper and get a free $200

I don't know about you, but I'll take $200+ Xbox over a $100 iTunes/App store gift card. I'd just sell the Xbox, or sell my old xbox and keep the new one.

AND an Xbox, which is more valuable.

So they are admitting the original hardware as on par with current gen, then when the developers couldn't make anything that looked better than current gen they decided not to show it and decided to show tech demos and a game reel using PS3/360 footage and will up the power later?

His character is off. I saw a recent interview with him where he actually sounded composed and made a lot of really good points on some serious community question. I don't have a link right now, not important.

This game looks and sounds fantastic. I'm excited to see how it unfolds. If it has the depth/length of a Red Dead/GTA game then that would be awesome. I've been tricked once this year by good gameplay videos and interviews with developers though (looking at you Brink), so I'll pass final judgement down the road, but I

Is the market telling you that? Can you sideload it?

It still is a free part of PC games. PC gaming has a lot more flexibility. This is consoles we are talking about, and it's a welcome addition to the CoD franchise. Other games, like Halo with Bungie.net, have been enjoying this stuff for awhile now.

What methods do you hate again? Surely not their amazing trailers, because those have been some of the best video game trailers in recent memory. Mad World was brilliant.

I can't imagine I'd ever burn out a drive from watching movies over playing games. But even if the blu-ray was $100, I highly doubt it would be a $100 increase to cost for DVD playback. It's a feature a lot of people probably don't use that often, but I think it's one that people always want to have around just in

It's also kind of a joke that a new age console can't even play a DVD. I mean I hardly ever use that feature on my Xbox, I almost only use that feature on my PS3, but it feels like one of those checklist specs.

This is for the small hardcore group of gamers. It has it's benefits for everyone, like groups, but clans, in depth stat tracking, etc. those really are only a big concern for the hardcore community.

Later class times give you more flexibility. It's up to you to make the best use of that time. Most college students don't.

Gotcha. I view the NGP as a console handheld, like I view a tablet as a handheld computer. Console DS it is then, though I think they missed out on making that controller portable.

Minus the portability. A console handheld is NGP, this is like a wireless screen hooked up to a console. They even said you probably couldn't play it in the bathroom. Come on, that's prime gaming time.

I think it's more disappointing that there's a lack of non-ADS FPSs coming out. Drop the fad, speed up the gameplay, non of if makes it "more realistic".

All this an no mention of any of the Skyrim details that got out of this? Did they get any? These are the real questions that need answering.

The promotion backfires at this stage because the only thing to talk about is what we don't know, not how good it will be or how excited we are.
